Go Pro 220 degree viewing

So I work at a shop and the Go Pro rep was in today. He said that they are currently working on a new camera that has a 220 degree viewing angle. Apparently the only thing holding them back is distortion of the picture. However he said that they will not be available until next summer. However he said it is going to be well worth the wait.

It'll be cool to see what those videos will look like. I can understand their problem, even at 170 degrees there's some distortion around the edges.

Thats fucking stupid tell them to get their shit together, and make a smart phone app with adjustable settings like the contour. That would be worth updating.
