Also, after watching Sammy's backcountry seg right there, I'd say he deserves the win. Holy shit has he been beasting in the backcountry. Sure, P White is sick and perfecting his fluidity/style in the backcountry, but Sammy is just on a whole different level I think.
 
It would be a robbery is Sammy didn't win, that being said I enjoyed P Whites more. But I am biased
 
Bracket matchups are always weird, but Sammy's video is..uhhh..really really good. No qualms if he took it! Really cool to see all the different flavors come together for this contest.
 
I watched p whites part first and i wanted to vote for him then i watched sammy's part and voted for him . he straight up killed it.

Hard to say, sammy was doing doubles but parker has so much style and fluidity, really hard to pick, really comes down to whether you are a spin to win person or a style person.
 
I liked Parker Whites edit a bit more, but if we're looking at actual skiing Sammy completely destroyed him. So I voted Sammy. Plus P-White had 1 pow turn in the entire clip.
 
parker would beat 1/2 of the field for sure but he got matched up with the winner basically.
 
Alright truth be told sammy's edit was pretty dope, but i still think parkers is better ,and that he got matched up unfairly. :/
 
I voted for P. White - Not sure if was the best skiing of the two, but if def. looks cooler and the music was better.

None of them would win though. Sean Pettit is gonna dominate this competition. (Wileys was pretty sick as well though)
 
I can't remember where but it is said Sammy spent a lot of money working/learning on how to ski in the back country such as avi pros and guides help him learn how to ski the BC... wish we all had that. Now Parker on the other hand did not, he learned it in his own way. Both segments are fucking retarded and I wish them both luck. Personally I like the joyful vibe of PW's and feel Sammy's is heart driven but centered around look what I can do aka ego.
 
Sammy's edit was insane. I thought he had really good variety in technical tricks, style tricks, bc lines, and just creative shit like the rock pad and the tree to tree transfer.

Also I feel like his doubles in the BC are super stylish, they don't looked hucked at all which is also a major plus in this field.
 
So Sammy did it right by becoming educated and training for the risks of skiing in the backcountry, but Parker just did it without training? That is very stupid and dangerous if that is the point you are trying to make.
 
As much as I love p white, i think sammy deserves the win on this one. His edit was just on a whole nother level
 
lol at parker hucking a tripple back after giving triples so much shit, but seriously, parker is sick, I personally am a huge fan of how floaty everything Sammy throws is, so thats who im gonna vote for.
 
I am a big fan of PWhite but Sammy's video was unreal... I had to vote for him and he's clearly gonna win this

Parker's was good, but my problem was the lack of pow skiing. It's a bc comp, and all he had was bc booters. I want to see some pillows and cliffs too
