Here’s how it works:

Filmmakers and Boarders:

* On June 21st, Grab your best cameraman and shoot your Skate Video. Make it a good one!

* Upload your completed videos to www.rip.tv/goskateday by July 1st, 2007.

* You’ll be asked what your favorite local shop is because you’ll have the chance to win a shopping spree in that shop along with a ton of gear to add to help you on your way to making more skate videos!!

Theme: Show us how awesome skateboarding is on Go Skate Day

* Videos should range between 2-5mins in length.

* Videos should be in these formats: mpg,avi,wmv, & mov

* Filmmakers may submit more then one video.

* Videos should have a good mix of skateboarding and skateboard culture or lifestyle. They should stick to the theme of Go Skateboarding Day. Find an EDGE over the competition – make it funny or create a story in some way, or just create the best quality video in film style & Skate style possible

* The Video Contest is won by the video with the most Props so tell everyone to vote for you.

hha what if theres more than one skater in your montage... and even if not. how do you split that package with your filmer, just a weird thought.
 
a two legged horse would be fucked up... and likely put to the pasture if yknow what i mean.... unless by some fortune he is a stud and the ladies will still mate... but who wants to breed a two legged horse anyways? to the pasture... ol yeller

as far as splitting the prizes, well... thats for you to figure out, we just make the prizes packages. its a pretty solid prize package, better then alot of other internet contests. get up on it and film something you limey camera monkeys
 
i wish i knew someone who had a camera and was good at editing. my friends and i aren't great at skating, but i'm sure we'd be able to make a pretty good vid. sounds like a fun contest, i'll have to check some of the videos that are posted
 
enter dat shit even if you have a shitty camera. its about the video, not the video quality. if you have a compelling video with just fun laughs and skating, that'll do better that some vid with now heart and is shot is 16mm. just do it for fun really. competitions shuoldn't be about winning. they should be about doing something you love anyways and its just a bonus when you can get paid out for your passions. get er done
