what are the difference between pipe gloves and regular gloves?

speaking of gloves..what are the warmest gloves u guys have used..my hands get cold easily and no matter what gloves i use.. my fingers freeze..and suggestions?

i thought my gloves were warm untill i went to lake louise this year and fucking got frost bite when it was -30 out

Drop gloves with liners are pretty warm, the only problem is when you take your fingers out the insides get all twisted and shit.

If it wasn't for date rape I'd get laid a lot less.

Pipe gloves are thinner, more mobile, and very nice on those warm days. I use them most of the winter, except for the very cold days. If you get a good pair and wear a pair of fleece gloves underneath they aren't cold at all. They are way easier to grab then with regular gloves.

CSA or CSF or somthing like that. they are like the canadian snowboard federation gloves, soooooooooooooooooooo warm two liners, one for when its really cold and then when its warm out you just take the inner liner out and the have a glove liek a pipe golve, nice and long gloves to

pipe gloves are like anti-waterproof

i have drop and stick it. my fingers get cold no matter what, but my stick its are reallly cold. haven't used the drop yet...but in 4 days...i will...but it will be warm.

I don't know if I just don't get cold or I've got good gloves. I had these 'reflex heat' gloves. they worked well. I got some American Eagle gloves. I thought they would be shitty but they are really good. really warm and they have a pocket on the top of the glove.

i really like Da Kine gloves, that are great in cold weather and the pipe glove is really nice when its warm

I have an awesome pair of rosignol gloves. Really warm and they havn't ripped yet due to grabs and what not. They also have pockets on the top of each glove.

 
I've got really hot hands and I usually wear fleece liners in the dead of winter, but if they get wet I wear my level gloves. They're warm and they have a sticky palm.

Yeah, my hands always get cold, my friends had the drop park gloves, and they used em all season, pretty warm they said. NEVER (may i repeat..NEVER) buy anything foursquare. I got those gloves and 2 weeks into the season the liners ripped out...and after doin like 4 grabs they got all warped and shit...plus they're not warm at all...my fingers were freezing! I guess that's what i get for buying snowboarding gear, huh?

I have Helly Hansen backcountry gloves, my hands have never been cold.

Pipe gloves also make it much easier to grab, I have sessions pipe gloves, they are pretty warm and waterproof.

DaKine makes really nice stuff too.

Pipe gloves are real thin and its just feels like your wearing nothing...and they have wicked grip..they are for real hot spring conditions when you dont want your glove but you dont want to go bare handed so you cut your hands up on your edges.
