Gloves or Mittens?

I know it is off season but i was just wondering if i should buy gloves or mittens at the start of next season. I am also interested in any brands that are great for either gloves or mittens.

Um depend on what your skiing, if its real cold out than you want mittens but if no then gloves or like thinner gloves in the park thicker out of it i like gloves
 
mittens. if you can't grab with em, your not grabbing well enough. and on top of that, why would you use pole any? mittens 100%
 
myth in my opinion

i always have the coldest fucking hands even on not very cold days, and this past season i bought the grenade spring glove/spring mitten combo mitten's they make, and have never had warmer hands in my life

i think the combination of a spring glove inside of a mitten shell is the perfect combination, although kinda pricy ($80 for the ones i got) they are completely worth it. plus it's not like you spent $80 for only something you can use on frozen days. when it warms up you still have the spring gloves to use from march, on. i'd highly recommend checking out the grenade setup i'm talking about, you'll probably be pretty pleased with them.

get urself a pair of grenade misfittens. they come with the sick skull glove liner and the mitten that goes over. the only bad thing is that the gloves arent waterproof but the mitten part is
 
You got to try it yourself. I am a mitten man because I don't have very good circulation. I also prefer the feel of mittens, any mitt with fingers on the inside is just garbage in my mind. But if you have cold hands, something everyone should try before getting new gloves/mittens is just wearing a warmer jacket, or an extra layer. If you're body is nice and toasty, than you're hands should be as well.
 
just get both.....mittens for cold powder days and gloves for everything else and a thin park glove for spring skiing
 
9i have always skied in gloves but this last year i got the ronin mighty mitts which are mittens with a movable pointer finger. they have the movibility of a glove with the warmth of a mitten. why settle for one when you can have both at the same time. the mighty mitt is really warm and comes with glove liners which are also sweat. the leather exterior keeps my hands dry and warm all day.
 
Mittens, cause theyre warm and its funny when you flip people off and then you realize youre just showing them the back of your hand~
 
my old grenade misfits were good for everything! only once did my hands get cold... on a minus 20 degree day and fuck if ur hands dont get cold on a day like that you must have some damn good circulation
 
actually just got myself a pair of empires and im waiting for my ski trip in 2 weeks!! yay (Australia btw) so ill have to put them up to the test and c nhow they go against the misfits
 
if i am using poles, i find gloves to be necessary for gripping. however, if i am not using poles, mittens is definately where its at.
