some scientists have come up with the idea to shoot tons of sulfur and other kinds of rocks/elements in a dust form into the stratosphere of the earth creating the effect of a volcanic eruption. This would then could down the earth a couple of degrees and temporarily be a solution to prevent further warming. It sounds like an interesting idea, other scientists and the public is worried about health concerns and other issues like air quality

you know that in certain parts of the world scientists drop dry ice into the atmosphere and it creates rain for farmers, so this isn't that new of an idea.

not just a major vulcano, a super eruption. it ususally means the extinction of 80% of the worlds species, and sends the earth into an ice age. theres been like 2 since the begining of life

Also volcanoes emit more carbon ioxide when they erupt than humanity has produced in its existance. Global warming is natural. People cant do anything to stop it.
