Glidecam bent?

So recently i used my glidecam and i noticed that the bottom piece is bent. I tried to bend it back but I couldn't get it back all the way. Its a glidecam 2000 pro and I'm wondering if it really makes a huge difference to the balance of it. I havent tried balancing it yet because I just ordered a mic and I wanted to wait to fully balance it for this weekend. Here are some pictures it would be really helpful if I could get some insight.





If you look to the right you can see the pieces on the bottom arent totally touching the surface maybe by a cm or so

I was skiing through some trees with mine and hit the base on one, it's bent now but in no way affects the balance!

you're fine. mine is halfway bent between flat and a "u" shape. still works perfectly.

alright thanks guys! I was about to buy a new one from glidecam for 60 bucks.. when balancing it should i keep the weights centered? Its hard to judge where they are in middle on both sides

as long as it balances and the gimbal is still smooth, you're fine

i think you'll be good, im missing bolts, and its bent a little and i can still get it balanced
