So I have a T3i and planning on useing a Tamron 17-50 and a Rode VideoMic with it on the Glidecam. Should I get a 1000 or a 2000 with the weight of the camera and other add on's? Also does anyone have one they'd like to sell? Just wondering what a used is going to run me! Thanks!

I don't have one for sale but def. go with the glidecam 2000. If for whatever reason your setup is too light just add a battery pack to it (which I prefer anyways). You'd rather have room for play

I use it with my gh2 and the 14-42 or 25mm f1.4, and either way I only need 1 weight on each side to have it balanced with a proper drop time. If you are flying a whole rig, it might be different, but you need your camera to be within the weight range

believe it or not, t3i/t2i with a tamron 17-50 and rode mic are a pretty common setup. Theres probably a thread with this exact title each month. But to OP, get the 2000 no doubt
