Glide Cam Tips For Out On The Hill

This is my first year using my Glide cam out on the hill while skiing. I have good experience using it over the summer, but I assume it will be much different on the hill. What are some good tips or tricks that you've picked up over the years? Is the wind a big factor going down the hill? Just looking to make my first day filming with it less about adjustments and more about the camera work.

Thanks

if you've got it down well on your feet then its really easy on the hill. i usually make the drop time a second shorter by extending the bottom out for on the hill and it will be a little easier in the wind as you ski down

the weight arms on your glidecam can extend. pop those bad boys out as far as you can to help stop the camera swaying in the wind. Other than that its just all about practice honestly, it will get better the more you do it
