Glen plake Mohawk help

Glen plake Mohawk tips?

been rocking a decent Mohawk since Halloween. Went as Glen Plake and decided to keep it. It was more than a costume. It was a lifestyle. In doors and just chillin I’ve got it figured out, but how does he keep it up when he’s skiing Alaska spines goin 50 mph? I’ve heard egg whites work well but I’d like some more insight than that. Here’s a photo for reference

mad respect!! He will definitely give you some tips if you reach out, he has talked about it in podcasts before too not sure which one though

Sick mohawk! Do you wear it up like that every day? How often do you change the colors? I bet skiing with that is mad hype!

Sweet, I’ll try it! do you have any idea how he applied it? Wet hair? Shape it and then apply it? dry it w a hair dryer?

I was told by a few people that back in the 80's he used to mix the gelatin with half the amount of water and would have someone iron it out on low heat before filming, took 2 hours or so every morning

There’s an episode of [tag=247064]@PowellMovement[/tag] where Plake goes into his mohawk routine back in the day. Can’t remember which episode specifically but all the episodes with Glen and/or his wife Kimberly are worth a listen.

I saw his technique on i think a you tube video and think he layed his heat flat and used cornstarch and an iron.

Nevermind it was in this website
