Hey! We went skiing both days last weekend. I will put up more pics as soon as I can, but here's one for now, and to see if I can pull it off.

The first cliff in our line, I dropped it wrong the day before and got a nice quarter sized core shot after landing on a rock.

The second jump in the line, with a 360 courtesy of Colin. Yes, he did land this.

dude SICK!!!!! yeah i wish i coulda gone, but my back was definately helluh sore...... but im down for next weekend if theres snow anywhere. and my numbers 253-4956

im thinking i might go up sunday, but im traveling all weekend, so if i go up ill come back with some intel.

ive been there in the summer, that chalet is huge i was there 2 summers ago... that must be like 10-20 feet of snow

i rode my bike to the hiker/biker sign today, which was at the birdwoman falls overlook. almost no snow along the road, and looking up towards the visitor center it looked like mid-june (not much snow) i talked to one of the construction workers, and he said that they will open the west side first but not until july 1st.... in other words no skiing logan pass really cuz the snow will be mostly gone by then... or you could ride your bike up w/ your skis... but that would suck...

I would not go with that July 1st number. There is immense local pressure to get that thing open, as a lot of businesses depend on it.

well there may be a lot of pressure, but theres also a lot of damage on the road from all the flooding last fall, still lots of gravel and rocks on the road, and lots of work to be done, and the east side is going to take longer to open... even if they get the road open by early to mid june, there didnt look like there was that much snow, although i only made it to the birdwoman overlook cuz of the sign....

No, and they are predicting flash floods tonight. I wouldn't be suprised, it is dumping rain here in Kalispell.

Ben, it would have been bad for your ankle.

Today I went up to Glacier. I went to ride up the road, and it was blocked, so I hiked with my mom up Haystack Creek. I got turns on both sides of the pass, and the snowfield below was taller than Haystack Butte.

Way low snow. Quite a bummer.

Here are some shots from today. It is really sick up there, but the snow is melting fast.

yeah 3 weeks would be not so great... youd still be able to make a jump probly, but itd be really icy and yeah probly not worth it .

i want to go super bad, i cant get anyone to go until next weekend and i dont want to go alone. next weekend i have to attend a wedding but the weekend after that i am free. i dont know i will see how it is then

today was epic but the SKIING IS DONE we slept in the goat lick parking lot last night and got to logan pass at 5 am. we hiked up to clements and 7:45, before any rangers were around. we skiied up there until about 1:00 when we decided to move to a different location, we skied down to the trail and a ranger told us that skiing has been closed since 3 days ago :( i will post more info and media when i have more time

i never knew they closed it but the ranger said that to much vegetation was exposed in the gravel and there was no way to walk to the snow without destroying vegetation which wasnt really true the way we went

its a good thing you didnt come because we were up past the visitor center before any rangers could come kick us out. I picked up some goat fur for you but i left it with my t shirt lying on a boulder on the bottom of where we skied

Thanks. The rangers are probably pissed that you put a t-shirt on their rock, which will never live again thanks to your carelessness.

hahaha. we filmed so much, timelapses, filler and ski footy, expect an edit up soon. we even skied the chute from the top!

here are some pics from last sunday (july 22nd)
