Glacier Diablerets 3000

looking forward to go there. I just hope it's not too windy, because otherwise it's hard to get the right speed.
 
Franca, plzzzz tell me glacier will be open the 21st coz I hear all kinds of things that it wont open coz of less snow...
 
yeah but their last message is from mid august. And ppl told me there is so less snow only ice and rocks. So you know something more?
 
it's gonna be sooooooo ill when it opens.

I'm really wondering about this weekend because someone who was up there told me it's a lunar surface up there... all grey ice and no snow.... but there's so many people heading up there this weekend for the opening and everyone still claims it will open.

Either way, the features are shaped and ready....

the park is def. there, in the form of figures shaped out of glacier ice.

20 cm of snow and it's up and running.

but I don't know how they will open saturday cuz it won't snow!!

If they have snow making guns on the glacier I do not know.

nahh all good maybe for you... I can only go to the diablerets... Btw whats the nearest place to ski besides diablerets from Villars?
 
Franca chill, u live like near the glacier If i cant ski that week I have to wait till end of december. So yeaa I got every reason to worry. I know ppl who went up the glacier and said there is now snow only ice, the park features are there tho!! Did u see weather forecast? Aint good... For me it is btw its gonna rain next week so means snow on 3000m.

well i m in the u.s right now..but i know what happenig coz i knw the owners k. they wont open if there wont be any snow..and i dont think u r in need of 25m. jumps or ?
 
they actually opened the glacier today at Diablerets.

Pipe was closed and they had some small kickers. I'm glad I'm eating snowflakes at Zermatt which is being shat upon as we speak... they predict a couple of feet of fresh by tomorrow morning... YEAAAH
 
yeah man it's OCTOBER.

I think for this time of year the setups we got in Switzerland are amazing this year.\

i'm gonna stick to Zermatt for a few more weeks before heading to Diablerets tho. The park in Zermatt is so perfect right now, friggin OCTOBER awwwwww.
 
well they have a kick ass c rail which is awesome! And the wallride would have been nice. Im happy with everything they got! But Im just wondering why they dont have all their set ups there... Thats all...
