Giving Plasma

I'm poor and need money so I can buy new gear to ski this season. Does anybody here donate plasma? I think it would be a good way to make some fast cash. Other suggestions are welcome as well.

I do. its not a big deal, and the money is great. bring some entertainment (computer or books) otherwise you'll be bored, thats about it.

I used to do it, then I got a real job. If I remember right, you can make like $60 a week or so. If you can handle needles its pretty easy money. Bring a book to read or music to listen to or something though.

Word. The first time you do it it takes a super long time cause of paper work and shit. but after that its jus money in da bank!

yeah i donate all the time, don't get money for it but i donate. I feel a lot better after donating, because it gives you a sense of goodness for yourself. Also you get drunk so much faster after giving blood. take like 2 beers and you are soooo gone.

you get paid to give blood? In CT i donate blood, but they dont give me any money. i hear sperm donors get mad skrila tho.

i think you can donate at 16. i did in high school blood drives. not sure about plasma though.

and about that sperm post. yeah, you make mad bank, but screening is hardcore. like it's getting to the point that you need degrees and shit because people only want sperm from rich scholars

I was reading something about a sperm donor. And they said (not for all of them) that you have to be a college student or graduate (so it means you are at least a little smart) and you get paid $85 bucks each time you do it.

Once I am in college in a year and a half and am 18 I will definitely give sperm for money.

there are so many more restriction on it, like you have to make a 6 moth commitment in some places, and you won't be allowed to have sex or anything 24- 48 hrs before. Men really get the shaft when it comes to donating gametes, women on the other hand get a grand and change for their eggs. though they are a bit more difficult to extract.

To all the people talking about donating blood, this is different. The plasma is a part of your blood that is extracted, you get the rest of your blood pumped back into you. The plasma is used to make medicines I believe. With the amount that drug companies charge for their products, I have no problem selling some of my plasma to their machine.

how much do you get paid to donate plasma? i wanna do it, im 18 sounds like a good way to make 100ish bones in a hour or so.

Just depends, as I posted earlier, I was making like $60 a week but honestly your better off just getting a real job.

my real job dosent start till christmas, when my mountain opens, and my other job ended when the golf course closed, like a month ago

I see where you are coming from, and a lot of people are like that, I can understand it.

Personally it doesn't bother me, and as long as it doesn't take like 3 hours and doesn't get in the way of my sex life in a major way then I am fine with it, and wold love to do it in order to make some extra $$$

Donating plasma is a good idea if your broke or just need some side money. You are able to give plasma twice a week, and were I live you get $35 for each sample. So $280 a month to donate, not bad. I will be buying christmas gifts this year because of plasma.
