Giving Blood and Drinking/Smoking

kinda browsed the other blood donation threads and didnt find an answer. noob question, but don't flame me.

so i'm donating blood at school tomorrow (friday) and there's a party planned for saturday night, so main question is, will i get really drunk and high off minimal quantities of alcohol and weed? and do they check your blood for weed or something like that? wouldnt want to tell my parents my blood got rejected because it tested positive for bud.

 
yes you will get fucked up, a 40 for me after giving blood is more than enough to get me drunk. smoking a large bowl will get you very high
 
Just don't give blood if you're worried about it. I had blood drawn from me (once a month for a year) to see if my liver was healthy and the lab never "contacted" my parents when they found THC.
 
yeah, i'm pretty sick right now(just a cold, no aids), and someone said they dont want sick people to donate, so i might be able to just back out tomorrow anyways. kinda want all the food that they give you after though.
 
You should be alright, as long as your pretty in shape and healthy. Your body regenerates blood really well when your young, and the night after you'll be fine. If you were goign out the night before and had a morning test, i'd say no...it lowers your iron in your blood and you need a certain iron level to give. I got denied when i was way drunk in the morning and didnt have enough iron in my blood
 
I always donate my blood stoned.

I figure whoever gets it will be stoked.

Seriously though, it just makes the high that much sweeter.
 
I think for guys the iron level is way more consistent. for girls it can be all over the place. at least thats what the blood donator lady told us. could have had an effect on it, or like you said it could have been the drinking.

I gave blood about a week and a half after smoking, and no problems. that's awhile after though. but still I don't think they test it for THC, more for things that are actually important hahaha. I felt a little meh that day, but pretty much better by the next. if its over 24 hours I wouldn't sweat it, but take it easy when you drink if you want to be sure youre fine.
 
last time I gave blood I had:

An eightballs worth of coke in me from 2 days before

A lifetimes worth of THC in my blood (at least 100%)

Mad adderall in me

AIDS

Just kidding on one of those.

 
i gave blood at school, jumped up and stumbled down the stairs then got dizzy as fuck and fell over. it was seriously like being drunk as FUCK for like 20 minutes after, i now love giving blood. happens every time.
 
Correctamundo. I guess its also super dependant on what time of the month it is too.

They tell you not to drink or smoke for 24 hours after, but the one time I gave blood and went home and made a den of pillows in my room and cheefed on the hookah for like 3 hours with some of my buddies. I tried to stand and fell right back over again
 
Yeah I failed a fitness test once because of lack of iron, went back a week later and it was fine. But guys are pretty steady, a lot seem to get too much iron though 3 guys on the team failed with too much iron.
