Giving away some Level 1 Posters

I hosted the Level 1 Premiere for Eye Trip in Vancouver, but ended up not using the posters they sent us and I still have something like 70-80 left. If anyone can find me a cheap way to ship them, I'm willing to hook people up with posters if they pay for shipping.

I signed a contract with Level 1 saying these posters are only for promo and I can't make any money off them, so I decided to spread some holiday cheer and give them out to the people I know will appreciate them most.

Otherwise if you're in Vancouver hit me up and come pick up a poster for yourself or a friend. What I'm NOT willing to do is ship them myself, because that would add up pretty quick and unfortunately I don't have a tree in the back growing money (or shipping material for that matter). Haven't decided yet whether I'm willing to ship State-side or not, depends on the price.

Thoughts?

me and my buddy would love some posters?

could you ship me a couple rolled up in a poster tube?

if you ship regular parcel post with Canada post, it's give or take 12$ to ottawa i think.

ship it COD and I can pay when it gets here.

PM me and I'll give you all my info.

Yea I think that might be the best way, I'll probably need to buy a pack of them haha.

The only thing is that I don't really want to do COD because that would mean I'm out a lot of money to be shipping it to people. I do realize to some people this may look like a scam or a bad effort at trolling though, so I'll post up a photo to prove I have them.

People from Van/Whis regionals can vouch for me as well, since they know I did the event.

if it ends up being a lot, i wouldn't mind it being shipped folded in half twice in a large envelope.

Ok, I'm going to the post office ASAP and figure out cost/times etc. etc. so keep an eye on this thread for details.

For those who are fine with it being folded it'll definitely be a lot cheaper, but I want to be sure before I quote prices so sit tight.

we learned about the different type of deliveries way back in first year, all the acronyms for them. funny how i remember COD clearly because of call of duty, cash on delivery.

I'm being swamped with pm's right now, so it would be better if you guys pm'd me than the other way around.

I'm probably going to do a flat rate for domestic, US and maaaybe international. Looks like Canada Post is going to get some good business.

I'll keep you guys posted.

let's all pitch and do an Ottawa shipment. We could fit all the posters we need in one tube so shipping would only be two or three dollars a poster.

PM me and let's set something up!

send SASEs? (self-addressed stamped envelope)....a stamped and addressed envelope to obsessedwski....with an envelope inside stamped and addressed to yourself. (providing they are big enough in size)

we should get all the ottawa people together who want some and take a good handful.. then shipping will be dirt cheap

Who knew shipping posters was so expensive:

Package: ______ Shipping: ________ Destination:

1) $4.69 + tax------$15.00 + tax-------------Canada

2) $4.69 + tax------$20.00 + tax-------------US

3) $0.10-------------$ 7.00 + tax--------------Canada

4) $0.10-------------$ 4.00 + tax-------------

So this is how I think I'll do it. I can't handle 4 or 5 different order options, so I'll

Great. Just when I make a big mistake there are no mods around. Disregard this, I pressed post too early by accident, I'll get it deleted and post the correct one.

Just be aware, these aren't tracked as far as I know. I asked for the cheapest rate and this is what I was told, using an approximate postal code that I thought would be a good average distance. You'll see that the price is slightly higher than the total cost; I'm doing this because some people's shipping will be more expensive/cheaper than others, so the surplus will hopefully cover the more expensive shipping.

What do you think?

Yea, didn't think this thread was going to be resurrected but I guess that's why I made the title what it is.

Basically as soon as people started mass pming me I realized the scope of work I was up against, I would essentially be running a pro-bono shipping service with time I already don't have.

Now I'm still willing to send you guys the posters, but with a catch:

You have to send me whatever it is you want the posters in, whether it is an envelope or a reinforced cardboard tube, with either the appropriate fees for shipping included or the postage already provided.

If you are sending me a poster tube please use Canada Post, or an American shipping company that ships in Canada via Canada Post. This way in case I miss the courier (which I most likely will, they come at the most inconvenient times) I can walk two blocks to the holding station. I WILL NOT BUS ACROSS THE CITY TO PICK UP YOUR POSTER TUBE.

Unfortunately I will NOT be accepting payments via Payapl, acquiring the necessary materials and shipping them off. If I was to do that for one person I would have no problem, but please keep in mind I have 70+ posters still left over.

I will post my address here, but with some unusual characters embedded, to protect my privacy, I apologize for any inconveniences. If you see any character that requires SHIFT + A NUMBER, ignore that character. So for example If I post 3$5^7, the address would be 357.

Please also include your NS name in the package somewhere so I can pm you if there are any complications.

Also one more thing, by shipping me your package you agree that I will not be held liable if your package goes missing at any point or I am not able to go pick it up because it was delivered to the wrong holding station or address. I will do my best to accommodate everyone but please remember that I am not superhuman.

For this reason I highly recommend sending your package with postage inside rather than with cash.
