giro makes good stuff, i have the 9 and its saved my ass several times

I have the 9mx, really lightweight and super protective, but the problem is that when you get an impact, he helmets is not good anymore but that's not a problem if you take the 3 years replacement guaranty.

 
if you ever hit the helmet it doesnt protect anymore? that doesnt make very much sense if its very protective

 
what he means is most helmets (a few new ones last though multiple impacts forget which ones though) that the foam is only disigned to obsorb one good blow and the foam will crack and be no good anymore

^ helmets are designed to take that good blow. and if you are skiing hard enough its not that difficult to do

yea i have giro helmet its pretty nice no complaints

the nine m.x doesnt have a mouth guard, im looking at that one. a few things on the Bad Lt. btw, its super fuckin heavy and has no ventilation, so itd be good if you only need a helmet for comps. also, its such a badass helmet that Dept of Transportation gave it a rating so you wear it on your hog on the way home from the mountain.

i got the giro flint sc which is almost exactly the same i just took the mouthguard off super sick helmet

i'm torn between the 9mx audio and the flint sc. not sure which one to get. i really like the chingaurd on the flint but i also really like the headphone idea in the 9mx audio!
