i know its a helmet but i got 3 concusions to the head so now i have to wear one. If anyone knows any pros/cons about the giro nine.9 mx id like to hear um,, THANKS

Dont feel timid about getting a helmet. I have a giro 9 and it has saved my life on 2 different occasions, once in the trees, once in the park. I would for sure get one if youve already had concussions, or even if you didn't.

pros: light, warm, looks sick, can get headphone earflaps, vents come out for spring skiing, comfortable

cons: havent found one yet

 
If you woulda worn a helmet after the first concussion you'd have 2 less concussions and not have needed to post this.

Hey guys, they are nice helmets and they are fairly easy to find. go to www.froogle.com and type in nine.9 or whatever you are looking for. You can get it that way. Also, the Boeri Axis rage is a pretty sweet helmet. It has saved me from at least 4 concusions.

 
full of shit... maybe you should go tell him that. And helmets aren't just for those who land on their heads. I hope you guys learn to wear a helmet before you find out first hand how stupid it is not to.

phrosty, jesus your a dumbass,, you have any idea what a concussion does to your noggin,, plus any real skiers who leave the park every now and then have shit like trees to deal with,,

i love my helmet

and if i hit somethin real hard it will make the clean up easier

 
I owe my life to a helmet. No joke. I was absolutly hauling down after everything was closed, not a person on the mountain, and I lost edge at about 40-45mph. I ended up in the trees, and accually split the helmet into 3 pieces. If I gonna be doin anythig besides just riding around I wear it.

better to burn out...

go for the helmet bro, ive put my 9 to good use, like walking away from 16 feet to the back of my head in an ice pipe (left my ski outside the pipe, thought i died... but didnt) and if anyone knows where the tuneup thing is... post it

 
We just got are Giro order in at the shop, and the tuneups are sick! there a set of earflaps (the ones that pop in and out of the nines and fuses) that can be bought for like 25 bucks. They have head phones in them and the cable that they come with has a mute butten that was well designed. I myself own a 9mx, but if i was in the market again, i would spend the extra 30 bucks and get the fuse, the only differance between the 2 is that the fuse has on-the-fly vents which helps a ton for those warmer days or gondi runs.

But deffinitly get a helmet, giro has saved my life a few times, skiing and biking.

 
helmets are good. they have saved me a few times. ur stupid not to wear one

yea man u should most def. get a helmet i know every1 is sayingt his but it has saved me a few times from a trip to the hosptial. the Giro Fuse looks really good... and they r made really well too u should check some of those out too
