through pro form the difference is only $6, so why not right? My question is though, do the audio earpads limit your hearing when you're not listening to music? I will ski and work in this helmet 90% of the time without music. So, do the audio earpads block out more external noise than the regular earpads?

The audio is more of a level where you are meant to be able to carry on conversations and whatnot, but still be able to hear it with decent quality. Sure, you can adjust the volume all the way up, but if you need something to block out sound stick with regular earbuds.

O shit, i feel dumb, i just reread the question....as to which i have absolutely no idea.

One more thing, pro form is a program that allows registered patrollers to get discounts on ski and snowboard equipment.

I have one, as apposed to a bad lieutenant, you can barely tell the difference, I had to try. Unless its a whisper you need to hear, go for it.

nine.9 for $50 and tuneups at REI for $30, i think it's a good deal, but for your question, i can hear about the same, the only difference i noticed is that tuneups are a little thicker then normal ones.
