, i'm going to buy a helmet soon. Did anybody has any expierence with the Giro Flint SC?!? Are there any other helmets with chinguard?!?

SORRY BOUT THE CAPS, MY CAPS KEY IS STUCK. THERE ARE LOTS OF HELMETS WITH CHINGUARDS, PERSONALY I HAVE A FLINT SC, USE IT WHEN IM IN THE TREES, BUT FOR ANYTHING ELSE I USE MY GIRO NINE, ITS LIGHTER AND NOT SO BULKY. THE FLINT IS A NICE HELMET, BUT I FEEL THE NINE IS BETTER WELL ROUNDED.

Let me ask you a question, why do you need the chin guard anyway?

yah, i do more big-mountain-stuff then park so...,don't no if i need a chinguard!!! Are there helmets with removeable chinguards?!?

yea, the flints chin guard comes off, but it looks kind of weird with no face guard. Just go seths style and ski with a moto helmet.

I have got a flint SC. I love it, it has helped me out many times. I don't take the chin guard off. But, if you experience a significant crash with any helmet, it should be replaced immediately.

Wow, those skis grind like white chicks in a nelly video!
 
i've got the red/silver flint SC with no chinguard, i like it a lot

I'm on my second year skiing in a Flint SC. The chin guard comes off with just a screwdriver, no problem.

How about the Giro Bad Lieutenant? Siiiiick...

Dude, it's a helmet. It does on your head. It goes whereever your head goes. Why wouldn't it 'work for park skiing?'

Just take the chin guard off and hit the park.

yea, but its steezy as shit so its worth it. that helmet is cheaper so you could just buy it for the non spring seasons of the year. I have 2 helmets right now, a flint and a nine mx, both are sick, I may get the bad luitenent helmet tho, its sno steezy!
