Giro 9 mx

Hey, I am looking for a new helmet and I am thinking about getting a giro 9 mx. Any one here have a review for it? and would it be possible to get one in white? Thanks.

i have one...it's sick. the only thing i don't like is that you can't put your goggles up on your helmet easily due to the visor, but it works if you flip the visor up all the way first. i don't know about white, but if you bought the matte black, you could just spray paint white and then clear coat over that

I have found them to be around 120.00 USD. I am definatley going to get one if I can find one in white, but other than that they are generic around my mtn. I might as well get a fuse.

They break and crack pretty easily. Their good for looks but i broke mine in less then 3 weeks. Aj burton broke 2 in a week.

I have had my 9.9 MX for 3 seasons now. I like it a lot more that the RED I had for a while last year. The removeable vents are awesome and really cool your head while spring skiing. I also like the removeable ear pads, which can be replaced with Tune-Ups (headphones). I have not landed on my head with this helmet, so I cannot say if it cracks or not. I am looking at an OVO to replace this one for next season. Oh yeah, my Figments stay on top well... but my A Frames slide off the top often. There is a snap in th back so you will not loose the goggles, but it can sometimes be a pain in the ass.

 
aj burton broke 2 9mx's in a week because he kept landing on his head. not because his helmets sucked

 
do any companies make visors for ski helmets, cuz i need one
