Funny this thread comes up now. The girl I have been seeing has dreads. She is fucking beautiful, and at first the dreads were kind of a turn off, now I don't mind them. However, I think I would rather have her with out dreads. She is super fucking pretty and in my opinion too pretty for dreads, but they work and I don't mind them. They're super nice to grab a hold of when you're having sex so that's cool.

I think it totally depends, I would say most people with dreads are not that attractive just simply because they appear dirty as they are the type of person to not really care about cleanliness.

That being said, if taken care of some girls do look fantastic with dreads. But being a white person who did have dreads for 3 years, keeping them neat and clean looking is a task. There were people that loved them and there were that thought they were gross. I enjoyed having them but the upkeep was too much for me, and now I need to look somewhat presentable for work. And unless you're black the public generally assumes if you have dreads you're a dead beat stonner of sorts.

If you do nice even ones they can be pretty badass. Find somebody who knows what they're doing or read up on it. One of my friends does them for some people and did her own. Wraps them really nice so they aren't frayed and they have a consistent diameter the whole way down.

If you just wing it and have ones that look like turds not so cool. Also regardless of the quality there will be people that love them and people that hate them.

If you have dreads you can expect to get targeted more by police as well. Just an FYI

This. Dreads can be acceptable but I will always prefer a girl without them. The whole idea of dreads is to let your hair get gnarly and dirty as fuck, which goes against the grain of societies commonly accepted female identity. Our mind's say no but our dick's say yes.

Hot girls are hot usually independently from their hair. If you're hot you can have any hair style. That being said, I've never seen a white girl that I didn't think would be hotter without dreads. White people and dreads just don't get along.

depends. if the are like thin and loosely dreaded, then on on pretty girl it can be kinda hot. anytime they are thicker than like my pinky finger I just can't stand it. not even on a pretty girl. So I guess like the thinner and less tightly wound up the dreads are, the better, with the limiting case being just regular hair. It;s tough to say what I mean, but like "beachy" type dreads instead of those thick giant nasty clumps of hair.
