any canadian criminal lawyers here? could they have protected their car with a tire iron and whacked some people on their heads?

or would they have been charged with 'assault with a deadly weapon' and been sued by the kid she clunked over the head for a personal injury claim.
 
dont spin this to make it look like vancouver people are all this shitty. the people who were rioting and fucking up cars are the shitty people that live in every city. and they are obviously a very very small demographic.
 
I would just hop in the car and floor it. If a bunch of fuckers tried to destroy it, I would pick ONE guy that is trying to smash it, drag him on top of my car, and beat the living fuck out of him for all to see, then throw his unconscious body at the fellow rioters.
 
That girl had guts to try beating anyone who touched the car off. It's such a horrible thing to do. Mind you it was anarchists that did this and in fact the majority of the people rioting were not locals.

people were going to riot if they did win anyways. plus like someone else in this thread said that arsonists came to the game for only one reason and that is to start fucking shit up.
 
Somebody attacked my car i would fuck them up 6 ways from sunday made a god damn example. Also if i was in that crowd i would have fukced those guys up too. I would have walied on them.why would they want to destroy her car?
 
If this were my car, I would have found the closest guy to it and beat the ever-living fuck out of him to hopefully make an example. If my car's going down, at least a few of those fuckers are going with it. Hopping in and stomping the gas would be another good alternative. It doesn't matter how dead set you are on destroying a car, when it's coming at you at high speeds, unless you have a death wish, you get out of the way haha.

thats bullshit. they would NOT have rioted if they won, maybe they would have celebrated but destroying cars is an angry thing . and they would not have rioted if they had lost in OT or any closer game.

that only reinforces my point if they were going to riot regardless. Anarchy isnt going to happen in a country like Canada or the US, if you really want it move to a third world country where government will have absolutely no impact on your life.

Honestly i dont know why the fuck they would stand their and "fight" just get in the fucking car and run over people. Their lives were threatened so why not go have some fun?
 
ummmm. except that they would have. A lot of the people who were breaking shit weren't even hockey fans. They just saw an oppurtunity to be total dicks. Same as the G20 riots in Toronto.

I live in a 1st world country, and when I drive somewhere I don't usually consider whether or not a bunch of arm chair jocks are going to:

1. Start rioting about a hockey game.

or

2. Destroy my car because a professional sport lost said stupid game.

Place the blame where it should be.
