Girls Skis

This is to help my sister out. She's 16 5'3 and 105 lbs. She really wants to buy the first year of the invaders. She's a begginer/ more of an intermediate skier that only goes in the park occasionally. She's progressing on her current skis. Which are some crappy Alpinas or something like that "not twin tips." 70% all mountain 30% park. Doesn't really do much in the park except for some boxes and a few rails. I know the invaders are a symmetrical ski and should be center mounted.

The question that i have for you is what lenght should she get. Also can she MOUNT these a few centimeters back so the ski is somewhat "more" skiable for her. Is this a good choice for her? Any other skis or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I think mounting invaders anywhere but center would be foolish.

First year invaders as in what year? was 05/06 their first? I'd go with like 06/07 since the 05/06 had a pretty bad delam issue, and I don't think there's THAT much of a price difference between the 2.

I'm not really sure what else to recommend, I have a friend riding Line Shadows or whatever and she loves them, you could definitely look at those since they're a girl ski, twin tip, and not sym.
 
Oh in terms of size, I'm not really sure how a ski should be in terms of height for girls. But maybe 150-160cm would be good, since shes 160cm high.

I'd get some 10din bindings since they'll be lighter
 
i say missdemeanors. get her 169s. i'm her size and rockin 179s. she should be fine with the 169
 
invaders sucked the first year but the new ones save your self and wait she wants to go 70% all mtn on invaders? try the k2 missd.
 
missdeamonors or the missconduct both good skis...missconduct is more for the beginners getting out there. super soft
 
my mom has the shadows and loves them! she teached on them...she goes in the park when i make her! hehe and she 50/50 some boxes! she likes to stay in blues and greens but can tear up the blacks if i make her....but hse has them and loves them!
 
Me 07/07 PE's $200 a little heavy and stiff but if shes an aggressive chick skiier i see no reason she couldnt handle them
 
No thanks on the Fugitives. Isn't 168 and a little to tall to much ski for her. She's not that tall or that heavy and isn't an expert skier yet. But i'll tell her/ let her see your suggestions.

I felt that the invaders would be no good for her. I know they are the first years and they had so many problems with delaming. She really wants them for the graphic. Don't bash her i know you should make the decsion basied on the type of ski for you then the graphic.
