Hey, is it just me, or do girls always go for the abusive, stupid, annoying guys??? girls, can we get a list of reasons why this happens...why not go for the slightly less popular guy who will treat you with a little respect???

Most girls are looking for a nice guy, we just can't find them! I guess some girls think that a guy is nice, fall in love with him, and then if he treats her like shit she can't see it because it is masked by love. I guess if they're lucky they'll come to their senses and find a nice guy, but there is pressure for girls to go out with good looking guys, and some of them are bastards, but girls think they should hang on to them because they're good looking. This probably doesn't make sense, but hey!

people get blinded by looks... so even if they're looking for the nice guy... if theres a better looking guy, he'll seem just as nice because she wants him to be as nice.

I don't want to come off as gloating and self- (I dunno some good word) but I consider myself a really nice guy deep down. Girls that see this won't choose me over another guy because they want him to be as nice as they think he looks.

It's the rebeliousness that girls are attracted to. Not the guys themselves, but the rebeliousness. One of my old friends is dating this guy who I absolutly hate and I don't think she even really likes him, but she still dates him because he's popular and a badass and he treats her badly. I also think she likes to like him because he is someone her parents (her overbearing parents) would disaprove of.

I wanna know this too. At college, the only guys that get girls are players. They just attract them, treat them like shit, the girl knows it, and wonders why she got played. Most nice guys are the one's that are too afraid for some reason to talk to some chicks for some reason. Once you start talking, its all good, it's just that initial thing. Another thing, is girls not only want a hot guy, but a guy with confidence. So you can be hot, but not have confidence, and be skrewed. FFFFFFFF .......well ladies, we need some answers

Also, I agree with Mike to a point. I often find that someones personality often influences the way you perceive the way the way they look (does that make sense?). It's like they are such a great person that you subconciously want them to be hot, so they actually become hot to you. I guess things could go visa versa (looks makes you want them to be nice).

Hey I think girls just go for what they can get and what they think fit their standards in the right order i guess. Looks is usually number one on every girl's list. If the guy looks good, it makes her look good... Some girls also just want to be treated like that. They may say they want something else but usually all that is there is what they dont want. Or they just cant date someone who isnt as cute as someone else. From my point of view, as a chick, i think guys are over rated.

 
I dont know one nice, sweet girl worth going for that is going out with a loser. 75% of those girls that you think are hot and that you think would be better off with you are waaaaaaay more trouble than they are worth having. TRUST me!!! Hot, skinny, big breasted blondes are never fun for more than a few months. I'm big on personality. And as long as the guy isnt completly ASSUGLY! but ya the whole confidence thing is key. The guys who like to think of themselves as the shit normally get more girls or the attention from more girls cause they are way more confident. And as for the whole nice guy thing, u gotta becareful that you dont come across to much as a best friend type of guy. Someone that we couldnt date cause your to much of a friend and we wouldnt know what to do if we were to break up or lose you. I know that is my biggest killer. All the guys that I have ever had crushes on have become REALLY good friends and then that whole dating/serious relationship thing is gone.

But ya now im just chillin, did the whole player thing and didnt like it so now im chillin and looking for someone to chill/party with all summer!

I used to go after girls with avengance (hmm never used that word much) all the really hot ones and stuff like that, and i would get them but always not for very long, and then afterwards we wouldnt talk much. Then there was this girl i met that yeah she was hot but i didnt want to go out with her or do anything fearing id lose the awesome friendship i have with her. Shes really cute and has the best personality, someone you want to be around with more and more. I dont look at her in a lustful way, even though i could cuz shes pretty hot, but in a more respectful way to her. I care alot about her and wouldnt want anything bad happening to her. I guess its better in the long run like that, she lives far away, and i only see her for a few weeks out of the year now, but i always look forward to it, its great

Now that I think about most of the super hot girls I know are as shallow as thier popular boyfriends (not that all hot girls are shallow). I guess it is best to let these people stay together. After thinking for a while, I realized I am more attracted to people with good personalities, over looks (although looks is a good bonus). You are exactly right, girls become hotter and hotter the more you hang out with them and the more fun you have with them.
