i had a big fight with my boyfriend because i want to take him out to dinner for valentines day and he says that i cant because im the girl. i got pretty mad. he does let me take him out to dinner but he says that for valentines day the boy is supposed to take the girl out because that is the way the world works. fuck the world. im not going to let society tell me who i can and cannot take out to dinner.

so, to get to my point, how do you guys feel about the girl taking the guy out for dinner?
 
my girlfriend would never take me out to dinner on valentines day, and since shes being a fucken idiot lately i aint doing shit for her. im gonna leave her home alone
 
dump that shit. seriously, she doesnt seem worth having. although valentines day is tacky and makes me want to barf, it sucks that shes being an idiot and you should do somthing to make her feel good about herself.
 
ill kick her out, think that will make her feel good? probably not, but i know ill feel much better. girls dont have feelings anyways, just a microchip implanted into their tiny little brains and its automatically programmed to bitch mode

i took my girlfriend out to a $130 dinner. then we had lots of sex, jea. but now i think i'm breaking up with her, money well spent clearly.

seriously whatever. if he wanted to take you out on v-day you should have let him instead of forming an argument. you two should have made a compromise like, if he takes you out on v-day then you take him out on another special event or anytime.

my bf took me out to dinner on vday and a few other nights but i love buying him random stuff and paying for some stuff as well. just find equal things to balance out the whole paying deal.
 
i personally dont believe in valentines

but my gf takes me out for dinner occasionally. i think its perfectly fine. it all evens out. one way relationships always end out badly

well i just "got" my gf like 2 weeks ago and i would probably do something with her (even though i never thought like this day is important) but shes not here, not even in the same country. so she will be back on sunday, so i wont have to worry too much about valentines day.

and to the topic: when i was first dating her (when we werent together), i always HAD to pay for her drinks in the cafe we were. not because she said so or she was acting like she thought it was important for her, it was just something i have in my education that girls shouldnt have to pay in such situations. i dont think that women shouldnt work and stay at home and raise the kids, but in some moments, girls should just take these advantages and let us be nice
 
let him take you out. but then jack his wallet and steal some of his money so that when the bill comes youl have to pay for it and then you can rub it in his face
 
honestly just listen to him. take advantage of free food. that's what i would do if i were you. who gives a fuck? chauvinism is gonna stay for a long long time just because men will always be on top so just accept it and take advantage!
