Girls asking guys?

bro...you can do it man. just think positive, take a deep breath, and go for it. it's really not that bad once you make the decision to do it, as is the case with most slightly intimidating situations. the biggest thing is that you don't have anything to lose. guys might say if they get shut down that would be a huge blow, but it really doesn't change anything if you don't want it to. the potential gains (huge) far outweigh the risk (weak). we have confidence in you. get it done.
 
Its happened to me a few times, but in all cases the girls have been not ones that I was interested in- so I felt pretty bad about it all, especially as they were uniformly nice and it must have taken a lot of guts to break the mold like that. Now.. if I a cool chick I was into where to ask me out that'd be sweet. That never happens though - the best they seem to be able to do is make sexual overtures when drunk.
