I think the guys response was pretty good, but I always said that if I walked in on my girlfriend cheating on me;

I would walk over to the drawers,

Pull out a pair of socks,

Sit on the corner of the bed and Put them on,

and walk out...

Can you imagine the epic mind-fuck that would play on them? I mean, you already know that you can't trust her, so why make yourself look like an ass, you didn't do anything wrong...
