Girls and skiing

i dont think alot of people realize this but som girls can really kill it on the mountain. does anybody have any other thoughts, that could prove me wrong
 
reeeeeeeaaaaallllllyyyyyyyy? Not really lol, 90% of mountains dont even have girl skiers in the park, which sucks but w/e most of them do snowboarding because they want to follow the croud.
 
uh, no? i don't think girls snowboard because they want to follow the "croud". I think most people start off skiing anyways, plus the park crowd has since evened out snowboard/ski wise anyway.

but yeah, some chicks do kill it, but i feel like most are out west. you have to go up into the heart of Vermont or something to find any sorta dedication from more than a few girls out east.
 
no fucking kidding. Im the only girl at my hill who skis park which sucks balls cuz i have to ski with guys allll the time. No offence guys its just how would you feel if you only skied with girls. (pretend that would have absolutely no chance of hooking up with them and then answer). anyways back on topic....in the comp league that im in theres like 5 girls in park/pipe sooo yeah.....

also ive noticed there is a line between girls who suck and then those who kill it, but i havn't noticed much of an in between
 
all girls snowboard just to be cool. its so true. i know its not actually any cooler than skiiing, but i go to a ski/snowboard school and there are ALWAYS about 3 girls every year who start snowboarding, and nobody trys to learn skiing.
 
fuck that il ride with only girls anyday...... " have no chance of hooking up with" have some confidence girl!
 
hahahaha no.....i only said that cuz i no that would be one of the main reasons a guy would ski with a pack of girls. ....I could get anyone of those guys EASY...but theyre all just my friends lol

ive seen a few girls skiing in the park and none were good. but i know some girls that are pretty good alpine skiers.
 
It was really cool me and my friend got this friend of my sister's into skiing and got her trying 180s and she was so stoked when she landed her 1st one and she went and bought some twintips.
 
girls can ski tough, probably tougher than most the people on this site. That said, most girls youll find in the park are pretty young. for example, i met this girl in the park, she was a total homie, killed it, was very attractive, and somehow i got her to talk to me. this never happens. so anyways, this leads to that, we end up kissing, long story short a week later i find out i was mislead and she turned out to be 15. holler. anyways, that hilarious story aside, girls you find skiing gnarly lines and pow will ski with you until you are old, and keep up. those girls are fucking rad and you really want to hold onto them. if a girl skis, i find her 10x more attractive, and it probably means shes cool too, so that to boot. I forgot what this thread is about, because im drunk, but in short i love girls that ski, in the park i think its beyond cool, despite the fact ive found minimal older ones, and in the bc cool because i know that all im gonna ski in a matter of years and theyll ski with me although they tend not to be my age. end of ramble.
 
Just had a few months not skiing, went down to my local slope, saw some mates n stuff... Last night, two girls out of the whole freestyle crew, 1 teaching, 1 6years old... tonight, about 8 - all on a girls freestyle coaching session. Just doesn't happen enough, think there needs to be more ways for girls to ski with girls, so they start throwing down bigger n bigger tricks.

Oh well.

 
my mountain used to have two girls now its down to just me. but i totally agree with the skateboarder thing. its def. real easy to tell when a girl just skis or rides to get guys.
 
Im in Whistler right now and theres this 7 year old girl who can do switch 180s ando the entire flat box sideways. It nuts.
 
or because they have opinions just like you and prefer one over the other. what a thought!
 
speaking of girls and extreme sports, has anyone else ever noticed that in alot of sports, girls are behind guys in terms of tricks thrown? why is this, it doesn't really seem that either one would have more of an advantage. Not trying to dis on girls, just looking for some insight
 
My sis can do 3s and 5s but there arent many other girls to push her so therefore she sticks to what she can do and doesnt try the reason u dont see very many girls is because there arent tat many girl skiers so none of the girls get pushed so thats y a lot of girls arent that good.
 
i think its maybe becauseguys were into freeskiing first? like you dont hear of too many girls hucking thier first back flip off a sketchy made kicker.and to ther girls it helps so much to ski with guys i think. because then i wanna throw down like them.
 
When a girl is good at skiing and wears nice gear, she instantly gets infinitely hotter imo. I just wanna bang every snow bunny out there!
 
I cant wiat to see what that 10 year maybe now 11 year old girl is doin this next season and the years to come...

if she stays healthy and her bro keeps pushing she could be battersby level in a couple years

so many girls kill it in the backcountry and even though there are less in the park there are ones that are incredibly good. there's a chick at my mountain who hucks backs off 30 footers and can throw a switch 7 and 9 with grabs. Then again she's a pro rollerblader.
 
There were maybe two at my mountain last year.

But a lot of girls are intimidated by the overload of steeze. But i'm moving to breck this month to be in the thick of it = ]
