Girlfriend v. skiing

Muahahahaha. I Love my girlfreind.

1. If you go skiing she can come (and rip as almost as hard as me)

2. If she can't go skiing, she understands and let's you go no fuss whenever.

3. I don't think i could go out with a girl that couldn't ski well, let alone ski at all, the relationship wouldn't last anyway. That's just the truth, and for me has proven itself to be true.
 
were both instructors , but she took her coach level...wath a disgrace...altough she told me she'll start doing freestyle next year...if she doesn't ...she's dead, I'm gunna grab her and throw a backflip with her in my harm...regardless if we die...then she's going to be hooked up on flipping. NOT KIDDING
 
dude my last gf was s snowboarder, which i could handle, but i told her right when we started going out, im busy every mon, wends nights, and most saterdays and sundays, but she ushually came riding with me so it was all good
 
yeah i converted my gf, she has twins now. and she loves skiing, not too good at park yet but shes learning. but she knew id be skiing every weekend, cuz its my job.
 
I would never go out with a guy who doesn't ski. I'm obsessed with skiing and so would a possible boyfriend have to be to even be considered by me. your girlfriend shouldn't make you choose, if she's got a brain at all she should obviously learn how to ski and go with you or at least let you ski all you want. skiing's what makes life sweet. nuff said
 
I actually kinda like a no skiing girlfriend, an ex of mine was pretty rad on a board and it kinda brought us down. I would build up her confidence and then take her off something or talk her into attempting something that would hurt her and them I'm the asshole. And it takes the crew time out of the mountain because nobody acts quite normal with their chica around.
 
my gf skis but we dont always go to the same mountains and i cant always ski with her. Back in March she came over and i ditched her to go to a Slopestly comp. She just chilled at my house while i skied. I had a bunch of fun but i ended up breaking my thumb in my practice run, and i had a cast till now so i kinda wish i had stayed home.
 
my ex didnt ski at all, he tried for me though. it ended up in him getting really frustrated, blaming everything on his equipment, yelling at me, and sitting in the lodge. then he 'made' me choose, skiing or him. i wonder what i picked.

i need to find a skier boy.
 
You know, I always thought that I would meet my wife when I would be standing on the hill and suddenly this girl goes flying past me and rips down this double black like there is no tomorrow.....then I realized that you MOVE ON. Skiing will always be my first love. I will always strive to ski at least 50-100 days a year, but when you come to your senses and realize that there is MORE to life and skiing, you will not have this dillema. I met my gf in Mammoth, but not on the hill. Turns out she only sucks at snowboarding, but that is OK. I pitty the fool who sees an amazing girl and looks the other way because she doesn't ski. WHile it would be ideal to have a professional skiing wife, it would not be the end to your problems. As long as she knows that you will be skiing when the snow is good and to not get upset at you for going skiing rather than watching a movie, then it would be just fine. I was the kid in HS that said I would never date a girl that doesn't ski, but, now I am with the most amazing girl in the world and could care less that she doesn't ski. Her birthday present will be a nice pair of twin tips and a season's pass and then we will see if she changes her mind!
 
Mannnnn, I just got into skiing this year, and I fucking love it. I'd never held my ex back and he LOVES skiing more thank life, and now that I ski I'm right there watching him do crazy tricks with a camera in hand biting my lip hoping he isn't going to break a leg/dislocate something/get a concussion/die, and I would hope if/when I'm in another "serious" realationship with a guy, even if he didn't ski, he would love to watch me or be cool with letting me go, because fuck man, I'm an independent stubborn lady, I'll do what I feel like, GOSH!
