Girl skiers and snowboarders

I just need to vent this:

I am a skier, I always have been a skier and I started skiing when I was four ... I have a friend who has been snowboarding once in her life and she is knocks skiing every time I bring it up ...

the other night we were at a film festival and they were playing snowboarding films, a skier was obviously filming the boarder cos at one stage you saw the persons skis, at this point of the clip, my mate goes:

"Ahahah, it's a skier, it's Eleanor!" And proceeded to laugh about it. And I was like, "just you wait". I was sooooo annoyed. She always goes on about how skiing is lame etc. but she would have no idea! It pisses me off soooo much! Grrr.
 
Yeah, that pisses me off too. Shitty boarders who talk shit on other boarders and skiiers. Well, even good boarders who do that shit suck, but anyways. I would agree that femla skiiers are farther ahead, I remember when the crowd went NUTS when a girl finally "stomped" a 9 in the pipe. And by stomped, I mean slid out and planted her hands on the ground.
 
kick anyone's ass who disses skiing. World peace is good and all that, but we have to establish our dominence with force!
 
snowboards are good for one thing and one thing only.... in fact nah, they're just useless!!!
 
snowboarders are worse then skiers at every aspect but rails. But skiers have way more style on rails and it looks cooler
 
i dunno.....i've seen some sick shots of chick boarders on multi-kinked urban rails, but i've never seen a skier chick hit one that wasn't just straight down.
 
no way, skiers are doing way more in reguards to switchups and spinning onto rails...just cuz snowboarders have more options (nose press, 5050, boardslide, etc) doesnt mean theyre farther ahead
 
at my mountain snowboard girls are better then skier girls, i dont think ive seen any girls hit rails on skis, but i see lots of snowboard girls hit rails...
 
i think it is absurd that you guys make fun of snowboarders. They have it figured out. Its obvious that none of you know what your talking about because you call then boarders. Snowboard video's are way better than ski vids they have their shit figured out. Don't get me wrong skiing is rad but it is rediculas to mock snowboarding. Skiers can spin more and it is harder to look good on skis which is cool but snowboarders have their shit figured out on rails. Any if you say girl snowboarders suck watch jana mayen.
 
anyone who says skiing is farther ahead than snowboarding is retarded, do we have halfpipe in the olympics? are there huge budget movies being made about our sport? are any skiiers sponsored by companies like playstation or target? cmon, dont be rediculous. And girls in snowboarding are way better than girls in skiing.
 
at mammoth and places like that, there are tons of girl snowboarders who make girl skiing look laughable.
