yesterday a friend on my race team was freeskiing gs and got off balance and went off a roller going very fast. she lost control and ended up getting airborne and going straight into a lift pole. she was high enough to go over the padding and collided dead on with the metal. she has a broken jaw, some broken ribs, a lacerated liver, and is overall super fucked up. she had to be heli lifted off the mtn and taken to a hospital nearby where doctors said her helmet saved her life. she's now in the hospital and she's okay but it's gonna be a long recovery so i'm just asking for some vibes for an easy recoveryi know this isn't as serious as some vibe threads on here but she was kinda close to death and could use ns's vibes and support

my friend did the same thing except with a tree

and nothin happened to his organs

but his jaw and thumb broke

more news, she's in ICU at umass hospital in worcester and doing fine but she's still beat up. apparently she pre-released causing her to get off balance over the knoll...she was using markers

Makes me not want to get markers, I only hear the worst about them. One of the shops by me is literaly giving away 11.0's when you buy some skis
 
apparently she also broke her right arm along with her left wristfucking sucks. we went and saw the pole she hit and there's a fucking massive dent in it

i was at work the other night(lift operator)

and some lady came straight down the hill at the end of the night went through the fence at my lift and smoked her face into the pole

then she started to sesure and coughing up blood so i called an ambualance later we found out that the lady had broken her skull

it was some scary shit

my boss ran and up and saw this lady like laying there and was like wtf and ya it was crazy
