Girl on my hockey team

Its really weird. Shes not bad, shes kinda in between Jv and Varisty and shes ok looking, not attractive or ugly.

Its just weird having a girl play a "mans" sport. Im glad women are trying predominitly mens things but its jsut weird talking to her like on the bench and stuff. I realized how much different I talk to girls. I try not to but I end up kinda flirting with her. not really, im not into her, its just the way I speak to her. Sometimes though I talk to her like I would to another guy on the team. Its really weird tho.

Anyone else have similar experience?
 
there was an article in the paper about some girl hockey players. Theres nothing wrong with it, they are going to get treated the same though, they know that. They might get knocked but thats the sport of hockey
 
I played "AA" on a guys team for 2 years, just because I tried out & made the cut. The girls league was pretty brutal, & obviously the guy's is just more competitive + aggressive, & I learned a lot more. I thought it was awesome, just because I pretty much grew up with them.
 
you dont see me playing softball or volleyball and completely dominating the sport, but whatever i guess.
 
They should get treated the same. I did. It was intense but awesome, and if they can't take it, that's why there's a women's league/division.
 
in Quebec, or atleats montreal, girls arent allowed to play hgockey with guys. they need to be on an all girls team
 
your scising yourself. whenever i play against girls i feel terrible hitting them and try and avoid them. being on several different teams, i know im not the only one
 
hey dude guys have been rippin on girls shit too. i mean come on what kind of man figure skates or does ballet? i even think gymnasts look corny (but man those guys can do cool shit)
 
Yea, guys I've been told the same sometimes. It's understandable, which is sorta a downfall to girls playing on guys teams- just because guys won't want to hit as heard if they know you're a chick.
 
I know what you mean. I played hockey with a girl today, and she kinda tried to hit me once, but kinda missed and it wasn't hard, but I didn't want to hit her at all. If you hit soft than you're a pussy, and if you hit hard, then you feel bad and it's not like it's a big deal cause everybody is like "you only hit a girl." I usually just don't hit them, but it seems weird. Whatever.

i feel there is nothing wrong with girls playing hockey its just stupid and annoying having girls play hockey in a MENS league there is a reason they have mens and womens leagues its because women are just not as strong or as big as men and to have them in a mens league is just bad because one you will feel bad if you hit them if you do hit them you will usually get a hard time from her and others and most of the time they are not as good as guys (i am not being sexist its just true) so having them on the team is just like having a bad guy on your team very annoying of course you will then hear the why don't you pass to me its because i' a girl isn't it no it isn't bitch its because you suck now fuck off
 
Yeah but playing on a guys team it's ASKING to get hit. Its sorta progression through aggression. And frick I hate girls that just come by giving a fricking TAP. So I get where you're comming from.
 
but if I hit a guy real hard and he gets hurt, it's a "that's right, bitch" situation.

if I hit a girl and she gets hurt, that's a "oh fuck, are you okay?" situation
 
Well you're making it out that way. It could be weird and people may think you're brutal- but ignore the fact that they're girls. I don't mind the hits and I hit back. It makes it more intersting. But maybe that's just me.
 
I dont know whats with these other guys. If a girl is trying to play with guys in a serious fashion, regardless of the sport, they need to be treated as 'players' not 'girls'. I wouldnt go easy on a girl, I'd hit her like any other player...hard.
 
Believe it or not volleyball is really a man's sport. I was playing in a tourney last year and someone spiked the ball into someone's chest and collapsed their lung.

at my last camp there was one girl, goalie, definatelly good looking, was kinda surprised when you took off her shirt wearing just a bra when normally a girl would go get her own locker room. Oh, and she was a sick goalie.
 
when I was in 8th grade or so we had a girl on the wrestling team with the guys, that was a little wierd. Also I would believe a volleyball could collapse a lung, Ive seen three fingers broken on a block.
 
haha, you can defintaelly get a bruise from a volleyball, voilley balls a fun sprt, Ive been varsity 3 years. But I dont think I could just play volleyvball, I need to play a physical sprt like hockey also, I dont know why, I just need it. Theres a JV and a Varsity girls hockey team at my school, both my sisters play, girls hockey is pretty big here in new england.
 
my calculus teacher says girls arent physically designed to play contact sports at all because of their hips and ankles
 
hockey's a huge sport where i live so girls are just on girls teams. i don't see anything weird with it at all, cause i guess im used to it.
 
they have a girls hockey team at my school, there are a few chill girls on it. but there is one really annoying one, durk knows what im talking about, and she gets mad clingy

More or less. I'm 6'3'' 220 pounds when im in season...she'd definatly think twice about what she was doing on the ice after i hit her.
 
Damn, I cannot imagine getting hit by a taller and lighter version of eheath. You're right, she would think twice.
 
In middle school there wasn't a girls lacrosse team so I played on the guys team. I would get a range of levels of hits. I was good too so at least I wasn't a burden.
