Ok... i need everyones input. Theres this girl im in love with but she has a boyfriend that isnt even in the same country. Basically, everytime she gets off the phone with him, she is crying. I don't know why. So when she wants to talk about it, she talks to my friend Jake. I'm amazingly jealous of this. So... is jake the friend that she can tell anything to and nothing else? Or is he the friend that she can talk to and if she breaks up with her existing boyfriend, they will hook up?

Jake is the friend that she can talk to. However, I've often been this character and trust me, if anything it means that he won't hook up with her. He probably wants to but she won't because she just really sees him as a friend, i.e. 'non-threatening'. I mean, if you were a girl would you tell your soul to some guy that you liked while going out with some other guy?

i know what you mean man, its the worst when you know the girl would be perfect for you and you for her, but i think if you let her in on it...it make ease it up for you, you know, you won't put yourself under a guillotine, besides if you never tell her that you love her, its probably not gonna go anywhere, what would be optimal is first to get jakes posistion..which is hard, but basically always be there for her, always, and really try to give her your own situation that relates to her, then the next stage is turning this friendship into romanticsm, which is very tough because these girls get thinking not to ' ruin a friend ship' which maybe would be a reason not to become jake in the first place, but if you do get jake's place, the one thing for sure is to just kiss her, once that happens she'll get it, she'll understand that you're perfect for her, IF you are, but really man its more worth it to just really care about her...things will come out best that way

Here's what u do. Tell Jake to 'put in the good word' for you. If he doesn't, get all your friend and form and angry mob of like 20 people. Then beat the crap out of him and poke him with sticks and throw snowballs at him until he gives up. If he doesn't, make him cross a large body of water in a shopping cart in the spring when the Ice is starting to melt. Breake all the ice and leave him there. Then you can shoot paintballs at him. It worked for me!
