This girl at my just died in a car crash. It sucks a lot. Nobody even knows why she crashed. She may have fallen asleep or something. I didn't know her but we had mutual friends.

To love the times we have
To like what makes us sad
To live when others die
To lose and say goodbye
To last until our moment comes

That sucks...mutual friends?

I know how you feel. One of my really good friends who i grew up with and went to middle school with died in a car accident 2 weekends ago. Although he moved to indiana after 7th grade, (im a junior now), it still really sucks and i was pretty down about it. It's weird to think that all of my memories of him in school, on soccer field and such are just memories, and he is dead now.

But, you have to move on and get over it, because you can't live in the past. Obviously you are going to be down for a week or two, but try to move on and remember her wiht good thoughts. Good luck. Rest in peace.

Damn son I'm sorry to hear that. I went through a few situations like that like my uncle going to jail for drunk driving (hit and killed two joggers), my neighbor and cool friend got in a head-on accident at 70 mph killing the other guy (now on anti-depressents, court shit still pending), my friend from elementary school was killed in an accident last year (soo hard talking to his parents after it) and finally a friend in highschool in many of my classes moved away only to be put in critical condition after a senior citizen rammed into his truck.

yeah sorry man. i heard this dude died at a bar in kingston, who attended queen's university (i've got a few friends that go there) and it's not too far away, and it really sucks to hear things like that. it's harsh on the community. he was apparently a really cool guy, 23 years old, going thru some science course, and he was on the football team. he randomly got stabbed at a bar, and apparently it was unprovoked. i hate hearing about shit like that.

...stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

dunno if you remember me posting, but i was in the same situation a while back cept it involved leukemia, which though took longer than the car accident, was just as sudden to me. Loosing someone, especially someone close like that without really seeing them is tough. You just have to believe they have moved on to a better place, and that soon you too will join them...but not too soon.

anathema.....i live in australia and that guy was my roommates brothers' football teammate....he didnt get stabbed, he got his throat slit by a "wannabe gangsta rapper"

real sorry to hear it, i've gone through stuff like that. a kid i was in a few classes with died my sophomore year in a car crash, it was real hard. going to class that day was one of the toughest things i've gone through. i learned from it though. it really showed me how precious our time is here and since then i've tried to live my life to the fullest.

a young man died in the begining of my school year this year. he wraped his car around a telephone pole. the other young man that was driving with him was in a coma till about 2 months ago. its terrible he was only 17 and his life is over

RIP Dan

a guy in my dept in at food basics died a couple days ago....but i didnt really know him. motorcycle accident

one our family friends died kayaking two weeks ago it was a total shock to everyone in my town. He was the nicest guy too and a super good snowboarder and an awesome photographer. Crazy stuff happens though.

I'm sorry but things happen and you'll have to get used to it because the older you get the more the people die on you and the more crazier things happen:(

:( Last week a girl I knew was driving home on the interstate with her drunk, abusive boyfriend, and they got in an argument and he yanked the wheel and she lost control of the car and was thrown through the windshield, landing on the opposite side of the road facing oncoming traffic. He is being charged for first degree murder.

I am sorry about your friend.

Stewie: Well, I'd love to stay and chat, but you're a total bitch.

It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.

last year a girl at my school died from taking painkillers and she had a bad reaction to it and fell down the stairs and killed herself. I had never even seen her but its always sad. And my mom told me that when she was in high school someone killed himself accidentally running into a voleyball net(the cables that hold it) and slit his throat or something. Anyways just grieve and then move on, it will happen naturally anyways...

Gravity sucks

What's the difference between a drunk and stoner at a stop sign???

The drunk speeds through, the stoner waits for the sign to turn green.

Damn, a lot of people are missed on this site.. Sad to hear about all those deaths, especially the unprovoked stabbing.

Car accidents are disturbing, you know, it's usually just bad fucking luck to get hit by someone fallen asleep on the wheel. Driving skills and reactions don't really come into play at the needed time.

I try to keep all my friends sober while they're driving, so I don't have to carry the burden of losing someone loved, and knowing that I could have been there to prevent it.

that sucks... a freind of mine who i grew up with died just last wednesday... he was being pulled rollerblading behind a car, lost his footing and went under... it happened between our houses (we live about 5 houses apart) and he was only 15

i fell the same way as that other guy, its really wierd and sad to think about all those times with him running around having fun.. and playing basketball.. his brothers out right now shooting hoops and normally he'd be right there so its weird that he's not and that he'll never be again

two people I know of that were young in my town died, one guy was drunk getting towed behind a car going fast on the highway, and the other guy was so wasted/stoned that him and his friend took out a boat, and he fell into the water and drowned because he couldn't co-ordinate himself. It's odd because all you hear is that two young kids passed away, and not how or why they did.

Its really unsetteling when you think about how much trust you put into total strangers every day of your life. You are constantly trusting everyone around you with you life. You trust your bus driver in the morning, other motorists on the roads, other people on the hills. and its not like your trusting them to keep a secret, your trusting them with your life. Its scary that comunication and transportation in our society is based on trusting strangers who you never have, and probaly never will meet.
