ya im thinkin of gettin them for my next ski sence they have gotten softer...can anyone tell me how they are in the park/all mtn/powder?

prob like most other skis, they r good im guessing, most park skis if not centered r good out of the park

bit stiffer, bit tpugher bit sicer bit more simetrical bit fatter you'll love em they are a great ski for sure especially in the park

well, all i know is last years PE's were great all mountain, so im guessin if they got a bit stiffer they'll still be good.

last year's though were a bit heavy from what i hear, but thats cuz its a solid ski.

they didn't get stiffer, just wider. i've had 'em for a while now, and they're sick beyond all reason.

from everywhere i have heard that they got stiffer and wider than previous years. apprarently more of an all mountain move, fujatives are what you want in the park.

stiffer lighter good ski cuz its also wider overall good improvments

why would where you mount your skis make you a bitch? why wouldnt you mount them at recommended if you ski mostly all mountain

 
i think i mite be getting those also b/c i bought 05 TM last year wit bindings for 500 and they said if i didnt mount them whisch i didnt i could trade them in for wat they were worth regulary which is 800 abd ill get the PE

does summer ever end
 
Not stiffer. Wider.

Rivets in the tip and tail prevent delam and the thick edges have never pulled out on my skis. Built to rule more than just the park so you will have no trouble skiing all conditions on them.

 
Hey schmies, i know your the graffix man and all...but what are your thoughs about helicoiling bindings for PE's...I have had some huge binding retention problems...at first i though it was because i used to0 wide of a drill bit while mounting, but I keep ripping out heel pieces...i have been recommending people to use a narrower drill bit, but i think that premptive helicoiling may be helpful...this has not happened on my 06's yet...but my 05's went through four remounts which resulted in a weakened ski, whcih broke in half last sunday at Mammoth (no big deal they had nearly 120 days on em) ... fortunately i'll just annoy john or mike for another pair...but I do a lot of mounting for friends and for demos and would hate to have another binding failure...another thought was that the Marker's we use have their heel screws verr close together which allows for much more ski flex under the heel piece....

i dunno...just getting techy on a boring tuesday in Tahoe...

 
thats how much they coast regulare at the start of the season but i got them wit bindings for 500 but they will give me an i store criedt of 800 for the skis plus the bindings

does summer ever end
 
hey wayne...

i ripped my toe piece out and helicoiled them back in, and haven't had a problem since... thats in the '05 PE...

hope that helps.
