both are wack, I am so sick of lil wayne. you guys keep talking about how sick his flow is, he has none. he just rambles on the beat about mostly nonsense which is why he has so many mixtapes. I cannot wait for this era of hiphop to end.
 
Lil wayne is so much more diverse and creative in his lyrics, half of his shit is funny. He takes the cake... a better question would be Lil W or Jay Z?

I have every mixtape and album weezy , hes definitely mad talented , just cause he's featured in some mtv shitty songs to be able to keep blowing 10gs a week . that doesn't have anything to do wit hthat. Wayne isnt biggie or dilla,... no one else has his style. Watch any of his freestyles or interviews the kid fucking slays it when he wants to. He isn't trying to be MF doom, ghostface, cannibus , they are some of the illest mcs but wayne is super creative with lyrics and instruemntal, and his shit his constantly hilarious . That's why when i ski most of what im listening to is weezy

Weezy F. ipitomizes what is wrong with hip hop these days, and that's a great example. That whole verse all he says is how good he is. There's nothing else there, and that's how every fucking song of his is. No lessons, no depth, nothing. Creative, sure I'll give you that. Funny, definitely at times. Dude's an entertainer and he's got everyone on his dick right now, but step back and look at it, the dude sucks. I hate people who claim to be hip hop fans and can't see it, weezy is not hip hop. Weezy is not the best rapper alive, or even one of the top 999999. Yes, he's the hottest star in the game right now, but why do you think all the real artists are saying hip hop is dead?
 
none of the verses you posted are "straight fire" at all. there mostly nonsense that wayne put together about how much wayne is on his own dick. hes self proclaimed best rapper alive, but no one else in the game has agreed. the only respect he gets from his peers is how hard he works and how often he puts out new mixtapes which says nothing about his talent, because he has little. he definitely is a hard working entertainer but thats about it. hip hop is dead at the moment and he is just more proof.

the carter II is such a great album but ever since then he has headed downhill... I really hope he goes back to rapping like he did in the carter 2 every song fireeee

Hip hop does not always need to have "a lesson" or intellectual depth. You could argue that that type is "better hiphop" but it's all relative to your opinion. Im not just another 14 year old who thinks "stunnin like my daddy" is the shit... I can see why you would both disagree with me but until i get tired of it, or something changes, I'll continue to have a lot of respect for wayne

No, Weezy sucks and in my opinion is the leading cause of my favorite form of music going down the shitter. I'll rip on him all I like.

This man knows what he's talking about. Never shoulda taken shots at Clipse, those brothas are unreal. I saw them in concert about a year about and they killed it. Super chill too, Pusha-T took some pictures with me and my buddies and everything.

As for Lil Wayne, im a HUGGEEE fan of his stuff. The Carter was good, but the Carter II was so much more sick. The Leak for Carter III was really good too, im really looking forward to the full album

listened to gille da kid today and it almost seemed like he is trying to be lil wayne or some shit i could be wrong however because i only listened to a couple seconds of some of his songs personally because i didnt think his shit was good but weezy is god
