What does she like?

well she moved to SF last year and really likes traveling, skiing, photography, surfing and being active in general. i was thinking about getting her something to do with surfing but couldn't really find anything and I know her boyfriend got her a new medium format camera so maybe i could get her something to go along with that but idk!

If she really really enjoys skiing and surfing a lot get her a big warm white teddy bear

Get her something that is sentimental and nostalgic. like a framed family photo of when you guys were younger or something and something else she's into. Sentimental trumps any thing.

You could help us help you by giving us some sort of information about your sister.

I'd get my sister a toque and a flannel but I'd get my girlfriend a knockoff tiffany necklace.

I don't know what your sister likes, but here's a list of some gifts I've gotten my gf in the past: wetsuit, smith shasta sunglasses, super nice soap (bitches love soap), super nice candles (bitches love candles), new goggles, gift card to any place she shops at or a nice restaurant she likes, bath salts.

Hope this list can help, man.

Get her a kiteboard lesson. SF is a mecca for it and she sounds like the type of person who could get really into it. Lessons are expensive but it is crucial to take at least 1 and she'll get bitten by the bug and be hooked
