Anyone else have one of these? been slacklining for a year or two now, decided it was time to pick up one of my own

JIBLINE

post pics of the lines you guys have, or whatever. slacklining really helps with balance, and pretty much any sport where balance is a factor (ie SKIING)

I bought a cargostrap from home depot for about 20$ and it's the exact same as the gibbon lines

thanks asshole, i just went and bought a slackline because of this thread... setting that shit up over water for sure, can't wait.

Yeah i just got my gibbon on sale... 70 bucks for the whole setup. So stoked on it, just got back from the park it was so much fun. my friends also have them, so we set up multiple lines at once and transfer.

if you don't care about having a printed strap you can buy a standard yellow ratchet strap for about 1/4 of the cost. i just got a 40 foot x 2" and ratchet for 20 bucks.

This is true, but i really like the anchor strap/loop things. It really protects the line and lets you fold it easily so that its flat all the way across.

sorry to any of you slackliners out there but i totally though that slackling was like repelling down mountains until this thread, this is much cooler.

ya dude gibbon lines are awesome. ive slacklined on primitive and gibbon set ups and i like the gibbon set up more. plus they're insanely easy to set up

Ok I to want to slack line. So I can just buy a home depot ratcheting cargo strap? If yes, how much is like a 20' one. I have some ideal trees in the backyard.

to be honest, when i tried slack lining, i thought it was kinda lame. Its pretty much just tightrope (or loose rope) walking without the unitard or stick.

i don't know, i just don't get it.

its the challenge that i like about it. after mastering say a 20ft knee high line, you step it up; either lengthwise, heightwise, or both
