Giant list of ski flexes.

yeah, It seems a little bit funny too, check out the flex of the Big Troubles... and for some reason fujatives seem fairly stiff.

Damn..... That is nice. who did the testing?

all of 4frnts skis have the strangest, inconsistent flex patterns according to that chart

I knew the ar6s were stiff since i have this years, but i never knew they were that stiff compared to other skis. Even though those are next years there is probably not that much of a difference.

no idea, It did seem odd because it says that my fujatives should be stiffer than my scratches. It is cool to look at though.

Cool concept but I do not think its reliable......

Fujis that stiff?, scratches aren't that soft, and 4frnt, whats up with that.

I cant even get the pdf to open. But I scratches definitely look too soft from that graph picture someone posted. You guys reading it wrong maybe?

for all you doubters out there you have to look at the flex in relation to the area of the ski. for example, most people know for a fact that the fujative is softer then the pe. acording to the graph, the fujative is realatively stiff under foot while the pe is less stiff underfoot, however, when you look at the tips and tail(where most of the force is applied when you ski) the pe is stiffer than the fujative. so it all depends where a ski is stiffer or softer to.

information like this has been posted before. someone posted how they did the test further down in the page. heres the thread:

You must be just reading it wrong, as you go up the y-axis stiffness increases. It shows ANTs being incredibly stiff. I mean it shows my MSPs being softer and the MSP is a very stiff ski.

Thats all underfoot. Compare the tips and tails and in most cases they are softer. That's where fujatives are noodles.

You guys do realize that the makers of these skis are aiming for these particular flex patterns, like the 4 frnts for example. I actually really like the look of that flex pattern. It's pretty stiff underfoot, the tail is stiffer than front allowing for more solid landings, and then halfway to the tips from the center the flex decreases a lot allowing a nice butter zone.

Is this a repost or this this comparison from a different source? I remember there was one like this but not the same skis.
