Maybe this has been posted before but I have to voice my opinion on 'ghetto' pros and riders out there. I live in a suburb about 15 minutes outside of New York City, 20 min from the Bronx, etc. I also live like 10 minutes from an extremely urbanized city...Paterson. It annoys me to see a lot of riders like Tanner and CR try and be 'ghetto' if thats what they're trying to do. I mean these guys grew up in the fucking hills especially Tanner...I mean c'mon Montana. No one in my area isn't ghetto and we're exposed to urabnization constantly so whats their deal? Identity crisis?

Its a statement. Its a new face to skiing if you think about it, they want to change skiing from being tight-panted racer style deal that no one pays attention to, to a new sport. A good way to do that would be to get noticed by dressing differently because people are very observant of what people wear these days.

But as far as how they dresss goes.. obviously they have a diffrent taste. If they are influenced by hip hop, and the culture that rose from the 'ghetto' then great, i meen it seems whack for most since skiing has always been, and is an expensive sport.
