GHANA WIN=BULLSHIT

Ahem... i am blaming that loss on the ref, no matter what anybody says. There has been some outright hating on the USA (probably some sort of a protest against the war). How can anybody who saw USA's last two games say that the the officiating was even 75% fair? USA does NOT suck... they were ranked 5th in the world according to FIFA.

Here's whats gonna happen though: Argentina and maybe Germany or Brazil in the final. Mark my words

God why are you complaining in the first place, it is oviest that Ghana was going to beat the US, come on. Ghana fast some of the fastest players, US doesn't have to much special about them.
 
It was a good game but USA just couldnt put any clean plays near the box. Ghana's defense was really strong.US played so awesome vs Italy, but i was disappointed at vs ghana.

I agree the ref did suck balls.

This has definately been an epic Cup.
 
first of all what the fuck does oviest mean? If you mean obvious then no it wasn't. If it weren't for a fuck up from the captain Rena and a horible fucking call from the refs the US would have won.
 
i like soccer but i don't like how it's played and officiated. in basketball or football, people will hate on you and think badly of you for taking a dive. in hockey, you get penalized for it. in soccer IT'S PART OF THE GAME. i'm sorry but that's just gay...if your team is up, you pretend to be hurt to waste time. in most sports, you kill time by maintaining possession and PLAYING THE GAME! and the officiating has been ridiculously, blatantly anti-american. but maybe it's not political, maybe the refs just give the game to the team whose fans are more likely to kill them. i don't know, but i'm kind of sick of the game.
 
Switzerlands offsides goal today was so bad. The official clearly called offsides yet the main official overruled it and called it a goal.
 
Ususally, when you take a dive, you are penalized. I rememeber the 98 world cup when a ton of yellow cards were given for diving. Usually, it was very very strict. Th ghana game and a lot of this world cup has been an exception due to poor officiating. Also, if you watched many other games, you will see teams using possesion to secure their wins.

To the person who thinks it's "ovies" that ghana would win has no idea what he is talking about. US was ranked 5th in the world by fifa earlier in the year. Ghana couldn't play sone people cause of yellow and red cards. the US has a lot of talent. You should have watched the italy game and how they played there, and how they also got screwed in that game too.
 
Wouldnt have done anything, US was playin like shit at the end. I can't believe how bad the refs have been this tourney... o well cant do shit about it.
 
The calls were bullshit but the US team is not good and even if they did beat Ghana they would just lose right after. They played an insane game against Italy but still Americans arent that raw at soccer
