GH3 Lenses?

I just bought a GH3 and I'm looking to buy a cheap lens $100-$200 used or new. I just want something to start with, for still shots and maybe some follow cams for both skiing and biking. Let me know what is good to get.

for a fisheye, my Opteka 6mm fish is great. love it to death.

Im with you on this thread tho, recently got a gh3 and only have a fisheye and a converted canon stock lens lol

get an Rokinon 7.5mm I feel that 6mm is insanely wide even the 7.5mm I have had to design rigs around how wide the field of view is. also panasonic 14mm is a good buy to for a wide angle that you can get on eBay for under 200

I'm in the same boat as you so threads. But I think I'm buying the Panasonic 14mm 2.5 soon. Check it out if you haven't. Looks like an awesome little lens and you can get them for like $250

Could I use a Rokinon 8mm with an adapter?? I found one on ebay for very cheap.

It does work but be warned, I'm assuming it would just be better to get the 8mm Micro 4/3 mount from Rokinon over the Canon one because I also have a Canon mount 8mm with a cheap adaptor and it literally has no sharp focus point

Exactly for how much effort your going to go through to adapt a canon lens to a micro four thirds and be able to use the lens with no crop factor, just forget it. Rokinon 7.5mm is like $200 thats honestly as cheap as fisheyes get for DSLR and Mirrorless

the 6mm and 7.5mm are the same lens, just labelled differently, 99% sure.

OP i'd say get a more all around lens if you can, the lumix 14-42 is a decent kit lens that will give you a good wide and medium shot, its like $100 used. A fisheye is fun for some stuff but it can be too wide for jumps sometimes. The rokinon 7.5mm is like $200.

I ended up buying a used lumix g x vario pz 14-42mm lens off ebay for a good price, so hopefully that works out good!
