Don't make that mistake. I have so far this season, and it's been a good season trick-wise and for progression but as of just having a ton of fun it hasn't been my favorite. Powder's been amazing (la-nin-yeaaaah), I've met up with some more people at my mountain, made new buddies, and built one of the biggest jumps I've seen, ever.
But I'm not satisfied. I've been trying way too hard to get better and to throw down that it's gotten in the way of the chill, laid-back mindset that skiing is about most of the time.
My New Years Resolution is to just go out and have fun with buddies while finding the right balance to push myself and not just sit around all day.
So just go out there and have fun; don't worry about getting better, you will.
Have a great winter, NS, see you out there on the slopes.
