Getting the rossignol S7

I saw some in a shop, and I felt them up, and down. They felt like they'd be a super fun ski for popping in and out of powpow.

Have fun with them yo!

wait is it the s7 that is basically the steeze from last year? maybe it was the s6...i was checking them out in my shop and they seemed pretty sweet

i just looked them up on the rossi site...seems like they are pretty similar to the JJ's actually. same kinda shape with their elf shoe tech. anybody skied both? because i was actually thinking of JJ's but i can get a big discount on the s7's, not the JJ's.

i played with a pair in a shop, and they seem sick as hell for pow, and they might hold their own on groomers. they have a rocker and taper in tips and tails, but there regular camber underfoot, so theyre still fairly versitile. have fun with your new skis

I'd probably go with JJ's, but the S7's look really fucking ill. how much can you get them for?

The JJ's would be better switch probably.

Once the hills get up and running the S7's will probably be the first ski i demo. There wont be enough snow to see what they can really do, but it should be fun.

s7s lood super dope, but as said ^, not much of a tail. i mean you can still ride switch and stuff, but not a typical one...

I flexed JJ's int he shop and they seemed like a real fun ski. They are also a lot cheaper than the S7's. I would like to ride either ski actually. I could go either way now that I think about it. Jest depends what I would be skiing each of them on.

They look so damn similar, The S7 does seem to have a little more rocker and a little more of a "directional" shape but both look so damn fun.

i demo-ed them at targhee yesterday, sick ski. not a light set up but it charges super hard. scrubbing speed through the trees was effortless, and crazy responsive. im a smaller guy, 5'8 165 and all the had to demo was the 188. thats longer than i usually ride but because they new ski dimensions it did whatever i wanted it too. handled fine on groomers. comparing it to the JJ, it is a more all mountain ski but the JJ will be more playful and better for switch skiing/ladings in the powder. theres a def shape difference in the tail of the 2 skis, S7 has alot more taper where the JJ is a more symmetrical set up. for big mountain charging, go with the S7. if you riding switch, doing alot of booters go with the JJ
