Getting Sponsored

Hey bros! this is my first post on this forum as you can see and i have a question. I live in Dallas so their isnt much skiing, but i was wondering if i could get sponsored. i can do 360s most of the time and even 540s if I am having a good day. Not only that but i can go most grinds and boxes and i even do mogulls. I really wanna get sponsored either by a local shop or a big company like armada or somthin. I'm 19 and i work part time at best Buy and i travel up to colorado to ski with some buddies evry month so info would be great!

your best bet would be to start small, get some local shops or small companies to sponsor you for little things like gloves or something. most kids these days are throwin 7s and 9s at least though, last season i met a 12 year old who could cork 9.

so keep skiing, get better, and try to get sponsored by some small companies first. entering competitions helps.
 
cuz if you could do a backflip, or better yet a wirlybird i think is what they call it in dallas, then you could get sponsorized by red bull.but ceriously bro, you seem to be motivated, so if you move to a resort, i think it would be alot easier for you to follow your dreams!

there's gonna be 360's busted all day, and then some 520's, it'd be kinda cool to see a 900 go off.
 
DUDES last weekend i saw a guy at the ski mountain that went off a ramp onto a grind bar, doin a 280 and then a grab with a spin out.it was the gnarliest thing ever.

The big companies will rape you up the pooper if you try to get sponsored with that. A. Start with small companies B. KEEP SKIING!! ( if you add a CAB to that 540 you got yourself some serial opportunities)
 
yea man, if its ur dream and you work hard enough, anything is possible. a few years ago i had the ablility similar to scottvail. then i started goin on NS alot and you will learn a lot here about style and whats goin on in the industry. join the trick tip cult, you will literally go from 540 to cork 9 and grinding boxes to pretzeling tom wallisch style in one season
 
PM Bishop and ask for free skis and lots of money. He'll help you out for sure. I'm positive he will if you can do whirlybirds like you say. Also check out Scott Vails edits for ideas and help. They are extremely gnar.
