Getting Sponsored for all mtn skiing?

possible? If you have any examples of this post them. I know that Matt Sternbenz is. Also, what company would sponsor a sick all mtn skier?
 
I got a hook up from Dynastar for "promoting a possitive attitude on the mountain and in the park". So yeh its def possible.

I got skis for free for 3 years because of it, now I just get them for like $150 each year.

Its def possible.
 
Yeh it was def wierd. I think it helped alot that I skied with the rep on a regular basis, and worked at a shop that used to be one of the only carriers of Dynastar in our area.

But yeh it was def nice haha cus they make some bomb ass twins.
 
all mountain includes the park too.

if you can slay everything, and look good, and smile, and promote, why wouldnt you be able to lock some sponsors down?

If you can get inverted in the park and do some tech stuff on rails/boxxes and rip it on the rest of the mountain u should be able to land something, shit I did haha and I am just now this year hoping to land some cork shit.
 
its not so much about what you do I think.

If you just want to get some free shit, you just gotta go out and kill it.

if there is two guys doin one trick, the guy with the killer attitude will get noticed... what am i talking about again?
 
treadway, plake, mconckey, and many more. K2, Salomon or Rossignol would most likley sponsor you. ive always had more focus in all mountain skiing than park.
 


ski companies make an all mout ski why not sponser some one for that ski they got pollard for lizys and bacon whynot have an all mout rider desighn an all mout ski?

All I do is ride around the mountain and screw around and I got on with Obermeyer.

but they picked me up because of what I did in Tahoe, which is a less shitty place than AK.
 
naw, he is pretty newschool and he is one of the founding fathers, i belive, for freesking.
 
I got set up with rossignol on purely big mountain, so its definetly possible. Just go and start competing and if you ski well you might get hooked up.
 
umm, hjorleifson was originally sponsced for all around riding before MSP gave him the chance to heli ski for the screen.
