if you havent been noticed and your 14 years old, what would be the best way to try and get sponsered

what tricks would you have to learn and what would be the least you would have to do to get sponsered by some of the lower companies like von zipper and stuff.
 
Win some local comps and send a sponsor me tape or win the US open. What stuff can you do? I'll tell you right now that you are going to need to be great because theres a ton of good kids.
 
for 14 and sponsored i would sy you should know, 7's or possibly cork 7's cleanly with at lleast a safety grab. 270's on and off most rails, doing them on urban setup is helpful. sw 5's and sw onto a couple rails. switchups both fs and bs. and do everything smoothly...

that should keep you busy.
 
walk down to your local store

"Bitch! hey bitch!"

now become friends with the owner and pretty much become a kid who sits in the store every minute of his life. Now nomatter what the shop will sponsor you, doesn't matter is you're good at skiing or not. You'll get SLIGHT deals, and slowly, if you are actually good, He'll give you more deals, or some free stuff. And eventually, siince the owner knows reps and such, he will try and get you on a flow team and it builds from here i suppose.

and oh yes, we live in teh INTERIOR, so go get good at things other than park. I know you have it.
 
ive got the 270 on and off rails,

switch up bs and fs are not that hard,

i can seven but i cant cork yet,

possibly this year,

if i throw corks this year do you think illl get sponsereD?
 
don't worry about it. it'll happen if you truly deserve it. from your tricks it doesn't sound like you could get sponsored on that alone, you have to be a good rep for the company and personable. it'll be harder for you because there's a ton of kids you age out of places like silverstar and apex that absolutely kill it. 
 
uh yeah if you live in the interior you should shred pow and big mountain too

yea, just buy a helmet cam, and shred the pow all winter. mike douglas' segment this year was basicly all helmet cam shit, so if he can do it...
 
I think that the forums should come with a special function that helps kids spell the word sponsored, its a good skill to have if you ever do want to get 'sponsered"

i am going up to panorama and ill get lots of time to edit over christmas break.

do you live in edmonton???
