Getting Speed Switch

I was at bolton last night and I was trying to hit the bottom jump switch, but I kept coming up short. Is there any trick to getting more speed switch or do i just have to skip the box and start higher up?
 
its probably just because my skis are jacked up but thay are faster going fakie, so I would just come off the box fakie and then point it
 
just pick a point thatll be enough speed to gap it without any checks i personally dont like jumpin to switch i just like to straight it. just get your speed dialed. go faster then you think you do because switch is alwayss a little scarier
 
i wouldnt recomend getting into switch right before the jump just start like 10 feet higher or so then you normally start and get switch and just ride until the bottom
 
as long as you keep your skis starit ther should be no probalems but look down once and a wile to make sure your not snowplowing alot of ppl do that with out knowing
 
if I ski switch and feel that I don't have enough speed towards a jump I just bend my knees and lean forward with my upper body, same as I bend my knees and lean back to get as much speed as possible when I'm skiing straight forward
 
you could ass ski most of the way too, then get up and switch it up right before the jump
 
ummm unless you are really dumb you would have realized I listed switch 9s as one of my FAVORITE tricks (note, I also listed pollards cork 3s in that collum and last I checked I am not in fact eric pollard). If you look above that you see that my BEST tricks...meaning tricks I can do. Switch 9 is not there.
