Getting skis soon, help me choose please (midfat/powder)

Ok so I'm getting Anthems for my everyday riding and park and stuff.

But I need another ski that is good in powder and and is good for bc booters. I also want to be able to ride this ski all mountain sometimes. So it has to be decent on groomers and whatnot, but it's primarily for powder and deep'ish snow. It needes to be at least 100 underfoot and no more than 110. Price isn't really a problem here.

The skis I'm looking at are:

4Frnt VCT

Armada Jp Vs. Juliens

Moment Ruby's

Armada ANT's

Line Prophet 100's

Volkl Gotamas

Atomic Pimp

Head Supermojo 105's

maybe:

Salomon Guns

Salomon XW labs

K2 Seth (I'd like them a little wider, these are only 98mm waisted)

Scratch Brigade Pro (like the Seth, only a 98 waist, and Rossignol are usually over priced)

My information:

5'10

150 lbs.

I can ski any terrain pretty easily, I'm looking to bring my tricks into powder and cliffs and booters if I can. And jsut rip fat lines on steetp powder.

I'd also like a somewhat more symmetrical ski so I can mount them nearer ro center and have them still decent all mtn. and switch. I plan on riding switch a lot and getting a lot better at it.

Are there any skis I should have on this list that I don't already have?

You said you are a good skier and if you like skiing fast get the head mojos. If they are anything like the head mad trix i have then they are mad stiff which is great when you want to go fast which you will if you are in the back country. And other than that I think it is a little odd that you have such a small size constraint for the waist (10mm)

that is this far [...] There are other things that will make a way bigger difference (length, tip and tail width)
 
Not really. Over 110mm you dstart to get pretty slow edge to edge. I don't ski a lot of park and when i do i have a pair of center mounted pe's.

I chose Prophet 100's to be my titanium reinforced crud crushing, pow poaching, cliff eating hard charging all mountain rippers.

That sounded cool...
 
I like the sound of the Atomic Pimp, Armada JP v Julien, ANT, and Ruby. Moment can do you a rockered Ruby too (you said you liked the Seth...)

Aight so I just got back from my vacation (no ns grrr.)

well anyway, I've narrowed it to the:

Pimp

VCT

Prophet 100

JP Vs. Julien

Moment Ruby

I eliminated the ANT cause it's only a 191 and I'm 5'10 145 lbs and don't want a ski that big, not needed for what I'll be doing.

I eliminated the Gotama, and Head cause they are too stiff, I love stiff skis but I want these to be fun as well to screw around on. And the Sollys' just don't want them, and Rossis are too pricey unfortunately.

How si the flex of the Ruby compared to the others
 
I would say JP vs. Juliens or the ANT's, but that is kind of a biased answer but really those two skis are some really good skis.
 
prophet 100s or vct, i say prophet one hundreds, think about it what brand do you think has more bc ski making experience?!
 
check out the new line sir fransous bacons. they're 115, but still a great all mountain/powder ski.
 
I'm kinda leaning towards the VCT's but I'm not sure yet. I know the Jp vs. Juliens are really light and combined with the jester bindings that would just be gnarly.

But can somebody compare the VCT's and the JP Juliens.
 
The VCT sounds like the ski you're looking for. The JP wouldn't be a bad choice either, but the VCT will be quicker turning.
 
I think I'm going with the VCT..

However I was at the shop today and they had the Bacons. normally I'd say too fat but I was very intersted in them, the flex seems great and they probably just destroy pow. i was so close to buying the bacons today. so if I were to buy the Bacons how would they be all mountain? I know they'd slash pow but for the occasional groomer and if the snow is less than 2 in. deep would they still be alright? and in the trees and shit.
 
Oh damn i just did a Bacon search and those are looking like the #1 pick right now. Damn i'm kinda ranking them like this:

1. Bacons

2. VCT's

3. JP vs. Juliens

The Bacons seem legit for all mtn and seem hella versatile. and I bet they own the shit out of powder being that wide and all. and the flex is definately good for having fun on. Probably not as hard a charger as the JP's but I want a fun ski, that is wide and a bit soft.
 
Rossignol Scratch Steeze, freeskier loved them but I haven't skied them

Elizabeth's, if you like a soft ski

...Are the only ones I didn't see on this list so far
