Has saga fixed the problem of delivering their outwear on time? I'm looking at buying a jacket of theirs, but I'm not getting it if it takes 1-2 business years to deliver

My wife ordered a new jacket from them last week, it took a bit longer than she thought because she was expecting them shipping from Boulder and they actually ship from California, but I mean it was still pretty fast, I’d say it took about 7 days to receive it.
Side note, she actually got a bunch of items as they’re 50% off on the whole site right now and she was really happy with what she got for the price.

you don’t think the entry and mid level people had anything to do with their failure? Have you not heard about the horrible (Utah style) customer service this company used to deliver?

I ordered a pair of bibs at the beginning of last season and they took five days to ship to Salt Lake. Seems like a reasonable turnaround time, but idk how things are now compared to a year ago.

I bought some stuff last year and it arrived in time and didn’t have any issues with it. They also have a big warning on their site saying that it might take longer because of Covid now but that is to be expected now.

I ordered the Anomie bibs at the beginning of summer and they took three days to ship. They've had a great sale going on all summer long.
A couple other things:
I still have my Anomie pants from four seasons ago just wanted bibs as well. Those pants are holding up real good. They have the large Saga decal on the lower leg that I'm not really a fan of. The new bibs have a smaller one, and with the black bibs I ordered the decal is black also so you can't see it. Nice improvement. The new bibs are high quality with new heavy duty waterproof zippers. At $135, these cost half as much as other bibs I was looking at. Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality and design of the bibs, the price, and the prompt shipping.

Got a jacket from them last fall. Arrived fast. Fell apart fast. The right hand pocket stitching fell out after maybe 15 days of use, which caused the zipper to come apart. Had to hold it together, unzipped, with a big safety pin. Quality is trash.

My jacket should not have fallen apart. Could be I just got a bad one, but I doubt it. It sucks because otherwise I liked the jacket.

I turned my back on saga before all the drama when they turned their back on freeskiers who got them to where they are and started to cater to snowboarders. They stabbed us in our back after we got them to where they were.

The core of the company packed up everything from Utah during the spring summer of 2019(there are multiple NS thread posts and emails to customers about this) and moved to Boulder to have the support of a larger corporate structure.
Spyder is also under the same parent company.
Saga is not Spyder. The same way that Line is not K2.
The issues with customer service and delivery during the 17/18 and 18/19 seasons were not because of employees but because of financial problems. As others have said in this thread shipping and customer service over that 19/20 season have been smooth. We fixed that.
Saga has been quiet this summer because the parent company furloughed the 4 employees Saga has and we weren’t allowed to do any work relating to the brand. Furlough ended recently and the core of the company is back. We’re breaking off the furlough dust. We have discussed everything that has and will happen with Saga with our team riders and will be making more information public in the coming weeks.
It’s been a rough couple of years. We moved everything(employees, inventory, operations) from slc and have found a better way to operate. This can be seen in the comments about our customer service and shipping from the past season.
We’re not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

Maybe Saga should do the same, make your stuff at the same places Spyder is made. Use Spyder as a valuable resource to check/ proofread your designs for durability and manufacturability.

Salomon skis did not turn their backs on skiing, they have plenty of free skiers though they are mostly focused in Europe.
I also ride Faction and Black Crows.

Saga changed their mind on what they are, horrible business practice. They decided to chase snowboard money. What’s next? Aggressive inline? Know your lane and stay in it rather then backstabbing people and not shipping shit. The name Saga doesn’t stand for anything.

Left the lifeless comp NFX which is basically still a Dumont. No back country freestyle skis. They are all directional. They had the SPK line up which people still swear by. Idc about a lot of the negatives people are bringing up as long as they do right moving forward. but if they get back on their game and start making some dope ass stuff like back in the day with great quality I’d definitely consider pre ordering and what not in the future. still have a bunch of older gear and love it, wish I had more because it will only last so long

I wouldn’t call it negativity. I would call it looking out for fellow skiers.
Last year I could of told you to sell everything you own and buy Saga gear to avoid being seen as negative. However you’d probably still be waiting for your stuff.
Even currently they are having issues with durability which is crazy given who their new daddy is.

Over 70% of our team, budget, and marketing has been devoted to skiing and skiers for the last decade. Before that there was only 1 snowboarder that was sponsored by Saga.
I legitimately would like to know why you think Saga hasn’t been supporting its foundation of skiers and when this shift happened.
